✨ Meet our new team member, Dr. Krisha Surti! ✨

Dr. Krisha is recent graduate and passionate chiropractor who is beginning her journey in patient care. She graduated from Logan University in 2024 with her Doctorate in Chiropractic, and is an alumnus of the Human Kinetics program at the University of Windsor (2021)👩‍🎓

Her journey began when she was very young, being just 12 years old when she decided to be a chiropractor. After working in various clinics throughout the city during her undergrad, she fell in love with the profession even further.

In addition to hands-on chiropractic care, she also enjoys educating patients on the importance of exercise, mobility, healthy lifestyle habits, and long-term wellness. Her belief is to use a whole-body approach to care, as well as committing to work closely with each individual; this is what drives her to make her patients feel better every day.

Outside of work, you can find Krisha doing hot yoga, pilates, paying for overpriced coffees, and binging every Netflix show you can think of 🧘‍♀️

She has already been a part of the Micovsky Chiropractic family for the past year, and is excited and grateful to bring her skills and knowledge to the clinic and this community!

✨ We are so excited to announce the newest member on the Micovsky Chiropractic team, physiotherapist Melissa Leffelhoc! ✨

Melissa is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated in 2018 with a Masters of Physical Therapy.  Prior to graduate school, she completed her Bachelors of Human Kinetics (Movement Science) at the University of Windsor in 2012 👩‍🎓

Melissa previously worked in UK and Canada in outpatient, acute and private settings. She has worked with a variety of patient conditions including acute, chronic, neurological and musculoskeletal 💪

Melissa has taken post-graduate courses in Mulligan mobilization with movement of the upper extremity, acupuncture and dry needling, and she plans on continuing her education and aims to become certified as a first contact practitioner (FCP) 🏨

Melissa likes to take a holistic approach and uses the ‘Movement is Medicine’ approach through education and exercise to help you reach your goals 🏋️‍♀️

Melissa will be working on Saturdays starting December 28th.

In case you haven’t heard … Megan and Dr. Mario are expecting their first child in January!🤰🏼

Megan will be seeing patients for follow ups until December 19 and beginning maternity leave December 20.

She still has spots available before then so book online or give us a call to book a physio appointment!

Meet Ilona! 👋🏼

✨ Meet our newest team member at Micovsky Chiropractic, Physiotherapist Ilona Giscan✨

🇷🇴 Ilona was born and raised in Romania where she completed her education and training in physiotherapy. Ilona worked as a physiotherapist in both Romania and Greece before moving with her family in 2013 to Quebec, Canada where she worked at as physio for 9 years.

🌎 Ilona has lived in 3 different countries and has become familiar with several cultures and languages along the way!

🌸 Ilona moved to Windsor, Ontario in July 2022 and is excited to discover Ontario and all of its beauties, including her new patients in Windsor.

🏋🏻‍♀️ Ilona loves spending time with her family, hiking, doing outdoor activities and she is a CrossFit enthusiast.

🧠 In Physiotherapy she is usually treating orthopaedic conditions, concussions, vertigo and also neurological conditions (post stroke, Parkinson, MS).
