“FOR THE LOVE OF HUMBOLDT”
Prayers and condolences to all those families mourning the loss of loved ones in the horrific crash claiming innocent lives of the Humboldt Broncos family.
I would like to further extend my heartfelt sympathies and gratitude to the first responders and emergency staff both on site and off site at the hospital. The human spirit and soul can never prepare for such devastation, heartache or trauma. Our prayers and thoughts extended to everyone who has unfortunately been involved in this tragedy being sent from afar.
To our local emergency crews, first responders, medical staff in Windsor-Essex County, a giant thank you for your professionalism day in and day out in having to deal with difficult and traumatic situations as such. I’m confident in saying as a community, we are all grateful especially in times of horrifying crisis as this for your support services and aid.
I encourage all persons or people who have suffered severe trauma and or witnessed horrific terror to speak to someone for your own personal well being. Research shows that first responders like all humans, not only benefit but need ongoing support, counselling and a place to debrief in times of unimaginable horror. Here at ACT (Advanced Care Training CPR and Counselling Services), understanding the impact of crisis, trauma, loss, death and unthinkable tragedy is the first step to recovery. Feel free to call 519 992 3463 today should you need an ear to listen and to help you navigate through any such difficulties.
