Button bowl is a popular, engaging, and easy craft for our residents it involves creating a decorative, sturdy bowl by layering buttons over an inflated balloon with the help of glue and tissue paper. It is a nostalgic activity that is creative and satisfying. The bowl is filled with candy for the residents to enjoy. This creates a fun afternoon and togetherness.

A special thank you to all of my beautiful residents for allowing me to be part of such an amazing day. I hope you all enjoyed the food, bingo, music and the raffle. It brought great joy to see all the togetherness we share here at our home.

An afternoon in Paris was a highlight here in the home.
As the afternoon sun settled through the windows and settled on the many happy faces, we savoured the magic of Paris, finding that with great company, savoury foods, music, vendor booth and songs by Abbey. Time never rushed. It was a magical afternoon filled appreciating the present moments and togetherness.

While group activities may be paused, our commitment to connection never stops. During these times, we focus on meaningful one-on-one programs.

From personalized visits and conversation, to music, reading, puzzles, hand massage, spiritual support, and individualized recreation activities — we make sure every resident continues to feel engaged, supported, and cared for.

Outbreak precautions may change how we gather, but they don’t change the heart of what we do. 💛

The residents were delighted by the vibrant fruit kabobs, savoring a refreshing ready to eat treat that brought vibrant color and a healthy option as an afternoon snack. These easy to handle fruit kabobs were a hit by all who enjoyed them. Some came and made their own and we prepared some for others throughout the building.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a fantastic team. As always our beloved Berta, who always shines and goes above and beyond with everything she does.
And to our new temporary team coming from St Clair college finalizing their studies here with us. IB, Mandeep, Mehakleen and Kairavee.
This team together is unstoppable. They all bring so much fun and excitement to our residents.
Their ideas are exceptional. They have embraced our residents and treated each resident with so much respect and care. They have showcased their many talents while putting their own spin on the created programs. I'm so very proud of each one of these ladies and what they have brought to the programs department.
Thank all of you for your hard work and dedication. This means everything to our residents!

In these past chilly months let's take a look back at some fun times that will warm our hearts. To our residents my heart warms with your smiles, laughter and joy. Everyone of you have huge hearts and it shows everyday. Thank you for always make things fun and exciting. I thank all of you for participating in all the crazy things I create. As I look back at some of theses photos the warmth fills up my soul. I appreciate everyone of you so very much!!
