Crafting is a state of mind. With the help of Berta the great, the residents created art using buttons. Button flower to be precise. Crafting is all about your expression. It is one of our more calming activities. Berta takes the residents on a journey when she crafts and the residents love it. Simple or hard the residents are up for a challenge. Remember you can create many things out of something you think is useless. Use your imagination and run wild with it. Express yourself. See what you are able to create!!

Jennifer Scobie introduced our residents to her creative mind. She showcased her talents by helping the residents understand the process of creating a poem. Who knew there was a formula to putting your creative mind on paper. Jennifer is a talented young woman with so much to share. The residents were delighted as they participated in creating a beautiful poem. Well done Jennifer.

Our residents are ready with bowls full of candy and warm smiles — and they can’t wait to see your costumes! 🧡 It’s a safe, fun, and heartwarming way to celebrate the season with all ages.

Build the Stick man a game for brain memory, coordination and pure fun. Build each man using the right amount of Q Tips and follow the boards. Seems easy enough well we couldn't make it that easy...Lol... take the 35 Q Tips and build the man. Remember if you have Q Tips left look again. The game is on a timer and your up against an opponent. If you want the prize beat the buzzer! This game is filled with so much fun and laughter. Residents loved and the staff did too!

Our kick off for the collection of canned goods has begun. The goal has been set to the collection of 500 canned goods. The thermometer is ready to be moved day to day. These collections will be donated to great charities such as the Mission and goodfellows. We want to make sure our community has essentials especially as the holidays are coming. The Devonshire Dolls stepped up to make sure we are recognized for amazing things in the community. I can't thank them enough for all the hard work they have put in!

This canned good collection is for everyone to be part of. Help us hit our goal by December 1st. It is for a great cause. Let's show that Devonshire has what it takes to surpass the set goal!

We can do this as a team. I thank every single person who can participates.

Im happy to showcase the beautiful friendships built here at Devonshire. So many of our residents find comfort in their closest table mates, yet others find it through certain activities. These friendships are built on wisdom, trust, honesty and respect. These friendships are not built on how long they have know each other it's about timeless lessons learned and shared. The friendships are like story books. They reach for each other in their time of need and count on each other when they need a laugh. The friendships I have seen grow and built show at no stage do we stop searching for that special friend to share all we have!
