It took time… experience… and a lot of unlearning.

The kind of lessons you don’t get taught in school —
you feel them through your hands, your body, and your clients.

And once it clicks… everything changes šŸ¤

This life didn’t happen by accident. It happened one step forward at a time.

03/10/2026

Somewhere along the way we started believing that living with tension and pain is just part of life.

Tight shoulders.
Headaches.
Low back tension.
Jaw clenching.

But your body was never meant to feel that way all the time.

Sometimes it just needs a little support and the space to reset.

And when that happens… everything starts to feel a little lighter.

I’ve been a thousand different women.

Some versions of me were tired.
Some are healing.
Some were learning how to stand back up again.

Every step I take now…
Every way I choose to show up for myself daily…

I’m building her.

The woman I know I’m meant to become isn’t something that simply arrives one day.
She’s created in the quiet choices.
In the discipline.
In the stillness.
In the courage it takes to keep growing.

And every version of me that came before this one…

was simply preparing the way for her.

To every woman out there becoming the version of herself she knows is possible,

Happy International Women’s Day. šŸ¤.

✨ Growth doesn’t always happen loudly.

A little reintroduction šŸ¤

The last few years have shaped me in ways I never could have predicted.

Life has a way of asking more from us than we think we’re capable of. It stretches you, humbles you, and sometimes asks you to keep believing even when the path ahead isn’t clear.

There were moments where all I could do was take the next small step and trust it was leading somewhere meaningful.

Looking back now, I can see that every challenge, every lesson, every moment of growth quietly built the foundation for where I am today.

And that’s part of why I’m reintroducing myself here.

Not because the heart of what I do has changed - but because the woman behind the work has.

This next chapter of my practice feels like a deeper, more grounded version of me. One shaped by experience, faith, discipline, and a quiet belief that the work we’re meant to do in this world will always find its way through us.

This work has always been about more than massage for me.

It’s about creating a space where people can soften.
Where they can breathe deeper.
Where they feel safe enough to reconnect with themselves again.

My purpose has always been to show up with presence, knowledge, and heart - helping people feel better in their bodies and a little more supported in their lives.

This chapter represents years of growth and a deep desire to build something meaningful - for the life I’m building for my son, and for the community I’m grateful to serve.

So if you’re walking through a difficult season right now, please remember this:

Sometimes the chapters that stretch us the most are quietly preparing us for the life that’s waiting on the other side.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their care and supported this journey along the way. I’m deeply grateful.

And if you ever find yourself on my table, know you’re in the hands of someone who has built this work with intention, resilience, and a whole lot of heart.

When the nervous system stays in ā€˜on’ mode, the body speaks quietly at first - tiredness, tension, restless breath.

It’s THAT simple. A listening ear šŸ‘‚šŸ» and a safe space. All of which you should be experiencing in your RMT treatment. A calm nervous system = a calm muscle body šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’ØšŸ§˜šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ’†šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

You know that moment on the intake form—or when I ask in sessionā€”ā€œAny previous injuries or surgeries?ā€
It might feel like a throwaway question. But it’s not. It’s a clinical key. 🧠✨

Here’s why that question matters more than you think šŸ‘‡

šŸ”¹ Scar tissue changes the map.
Old injuries and surgical sites can create adhesions or altered fascial patterns. Your body might be compensating in ways you don’t even notice—until pain shows up somewhere else.

šŸ”¹ Your nervous system remembers.
Even when tissue heals, the nervous system can stay guarded. That history helps me choose the right pressure, pace, and approach—so your body feels safe.

šŸ”¹ Pain isn’t always local.
That shoulder tension? It might trace back to an old collarbone fracture. That hip tightness? Could be linked to a C-section scar. Your history helps me connect the dots.

šŸ”¹ Safety first, always.
Some surgeries come with contraindications—areas we avoid, modify, or support differently. Your info helps me keep your treatment safe, effective, and tailored to you.

šŸ”¹ You’re more than a sore spot.
You’re a whole human with a story. And your body carries that story in ways science is still learning to decode.

So next time I ask about past injuries or surgeries, know this:
It’s not just a formality. It’s a foundation.
For safer, smarter, more compassionate care. šŸ’™.

✨ Belief isn’t just personal - it’s neurological.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

When someone believes that a specific approach - whether deep therapeutic work or gentle relaxation - is what will help them heal, that belief activates real physiological responses.

🧬 Neuroscience and psychology show us that our expectations shape how the brain processes sensation, safety, and change. So when we align with a client’s belief system, we’re not just being supportive - we’re working with the brain’s own predictive coding and neurochemical pathways. āš›ļø

It’s not about finding the ā€œrightā€ method. It’s about honoring the one their nervous system already trusts.

I can use my professional recommendation as an RMT but I do not get to choose what treatment style you feel safest with. ā›”ļø

🧠 Healing is personal, but the science is shareable. Let’s keep learning together.
