Someone asked me to talk about salt
**Before I start, I'll just put my own disclaimer in here that there are dozens of conflicting articles out there about sea salt. It is important to do your own research and be an informed consumer. You can make yourself go crazy with the amount of information that goes in either direction. You do need some salt for electrolyte balance and cell health. Yes, you can get some naturally occuring salt in your whole foods. It is not a condiment. You only need a pinch a day. Quality matters as well as Source**
Somewhere along the way, we were taught to fear salt.
So hereโs the truth ๐๐ผ
Salt is a mineral your body desperately needs to survive. The real problem isnโt the mineral salt itself, Itโs the man-made version weโve been consuming for decades that is toxic. Reality is your body has to have minerals and salt is one of them. But the problem is big food companies made a toxic salt which is allowed to be used in our food chain which causes health issues.
Sea Salt is essential to life, our bodies need it in its pure mineral rich form not lab made poisons and without it, the body canโt:
