Starting June 16th, we will have a new massage therapist at the clinic!!

Nick is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy class of 2020, Nick has worked as an RMT in the Halifax area for 5 years before relocating to Hantsport. Years of hands on work in a bustling Massage Therapy clinic have given him a diverse set of skills and techniques to bring to the table.

Nick believes in connecting people with their bodies, empowering them with knowledge and awareness, and ensuring they feel heard and seen both in and out of treatment. Through continuing education, he has pursued his passion for mental health awareness, physical fitness and chronic pain management. His treatments include a mix of deep tissue work, myofascial release, hydrotherapy (hot towels), cupping and positional work.

Outside of the clinic you will find Nick playing drums in his band, at your local squat rack or out in the garden with his fiancé.

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) – Maternity Leave Coverage (Full Caseload) with the possibility of a permanent position

Windsor Chiropractic Health Centre is seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team for a one-year maternity leave position, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is a great opportunity to step into a full caseload (25+ patients/week) with room to grow.

Position Details
• Start Date: Mid-June 2025
• Duration: 1-year maternity leave coverage (possibility of permanent position)
• Schedule:
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Mornings
• Tuesday and Thursday: Evenings
• Caseload: Full and well-established, with demand to increase hours if desired

Maggen is back treating this week!

We’re so happy to have her back since having to take time off over the last few months.

Maggen will slowly be easing into her regular schedule. To make her schedule more manageable we have decided to not open her schedule up to online booking.

Also, we will be limiting her bookings to existing patients only for the next several weeks.

Tomorrow is an exciting day as we welcome our 6th, massage therapist, Inez Rudderham, to the team!

Inez Rudderham graduated from the Canadian College for Massage Therapy. With a deep, rooted passion for anatomy, Inez brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice with a special interest in arthritis, TMJ pain, chronic illness management and supporting clients with cancer-related challenges. Inez’s approach is characterized by compassion, skilful techniques and a deep commitment to supporting her clients to achieve well-being.

Outside of work Inez is an avid fly Fisherman and frequently makes trips home to Cape Breton to visit her family and go fishing with her best friends her sister Alexis and her Nephew Will. Inez loves being outdoors, especially around the water and spending time with her amazing nine-year-old Dolores.

Inez's dedication to continuous learning and her genuine care for her clients make her a valued member of the healthcare community.

Do you want to run but feel like you're not good at it?

Or, have you told yourself "I'm just not a natural runner"?

Well, luckily, like most things in life, running is a skill that you can get better at with the right coaching and practice.

This 8-week program lead by Kinesiologist and avid runner, Patrick Loughran, is designed to help beginners or those returning to running after a break. You will learn proper body mechanics, ways to Improve your form and strengthening exercises.

At each session you'll do a combination of skills training, strengthening and running together as a group. The time that you run will gradually increase each week.

You'll have guidance for at home workouts too and access to a Facebook group to share you wins.

You'll celebrate finishing the 8 week program with a group 5 km run.

Ten years ago today I bought Windsor Chiropractic Health Centre.

They say time flies when you are having fun and it really has been fun.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It was a steep learning curve with a ton of stress. But the job and people make it 100% worth it.

Over the past ten years, I have come to call Windsor my second home, even though I don’t live in the area. I feel so connected to this community. I have seen kids grow into young adults, met new additions to families and grieved for the loss of patients we have treated.

I want to thank everyone who stuck in and stayed with the clinic when I took over as the new owner. And to my staff and colleagues who are the heart and soul of the clinic.

Thank you to Dr. Jill Newell, who is my co-owner (celebrating 5 years this year, woo-hoo). I can’t imagine getting through the stress of the pandemic without you.

I can’t say enough of what this clinic means to me. It is my heart and soul.
