Happy January and welcome to your yearly update to book your maintenance appointments for the year!
Maintenance care is an effective and important part of your musculoskeletal health. Wellness isn’t simply the absence of disease or ailment, but rather encourages outcomes that allow your body to thrive in your daily activities & exercises while preventing and reducing your risk of re-exacerbation of future injury.
So often we see patient’s with their “usual complaints” after several months. When they come in they’re at the point that their discomfort is now impacting their day to day life, responsibilities, and their ability to exercise.
Our clinical experience often shows the patients who make their monthly maintenance a priority rarely experience these set backs and, if they do, they can be addressed quickly to minimize any limitations due to pain.
Back pain, headaches, recurrent sprains/strains, carpal tunnel, and osteoarthritis are all conditions we’ve seen that thrive on the wellness aspect of care.
Let this be your remind to book those maintenance appointments ahead of time, put them in the Google calendar, and stay pain free in 2025 ✨🍾

Winter is coming…
Remember the following tips when getting out there to shovel snow:
❄️ don’t let it pile up- try to move smaller amounts more frequently
❄️pick the right shovel- use a lightweight shovel
❄️push, don’t throw the snow- avoid lifting heavy shovelful of snow
❄️bend your knees- keep a neutral spine
❄️take breaks and stay hydrated
And, if all else fails, see your chiropractor for the aftermath 😉
