Today, we celebrate Maureen Shepley and her incredible 1️⃣9️⃣-year journey with Families First — a journey defined by love, service, and the little touches that make a big difference.
Maureen has poured her heart into every corner of our spaces — keeping our facilities pristine, welcoming, and full of care. But her impact goes far beyond the physical spaces.
If you’ve ever tasted one of our FAMOUS cookies, you’ve experienced a little piece of Maureen’s magic — she helped create the original recipe and, with her team, has baked thousands of them over the years. Her love of hospitality also helped launch our catering services, where her warmth could be felt in every bite.
But perhaps her most personal and lasting gift has been to our team. For over 15 years, Maureen has lovingly prepared homemade lunches — from soups and salads to hot meals and desserts. Around here, the term “MOEMADE” is a badge of honour and a symbol of her deep care.
Maureen lives our mission of “Raving Fan Service” through every act of kindness, every lovingly prepared meal, and every thoughtful detail. She shows her love not with words, but through quiet, consistent acts of service — and we are beyond lucky she chose to share her heart with us.
