Families First

Families First We don’t just plan funerals, we help tell life stories. At Families First we honour and remember the uniqueness of each human life.

Since 1996, Families First has provided personal, meaningful celebrations of life that reflect each unique journey, with care, compassion, and a commitment to honouring every life. We are dedicated to the loving and sensitive care of families in times of need.

With the increase in red light cameras across Windsor, we want to share an
important reminder about funeral processions.
All vehicles must come to a complete stop at red lights. Funeral processions do
not have special privileges under traffic laws, and proceeding through a red light
at a camera-controlled intersection may result in a ticket.
Our priority is always the safety of every person in the procession and the
community around us. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Time with Family
We understand how important it is to spend meaningful time with your loved
ones—especially during life’s most difficult moments.
No matter which services you choose, we will help arrange a private time for
your family to come together, support one another, and share in remembrance.
Being together with your loved one can offer comfort, connection, and a sense of
peace as you begin to move forward.
This time takes place prior to any services or visitation, scheduled at a mutually
convenient moment, in a relaxed and caring environment.

May is Asian Heritage Month
A time to recognize, celebrate, and learn from the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Asian Canadians.
Here in Windsor and Essex County, we are proud to be part of a diverse
community shaped by the stories, values, and everyday contributions of Asian
individuals and families. Their impact continues to strengthen and enrich our
region in meaningful ways.
This month—and every month—we honour the diversity, resilience, and
influence of Asian communities across Canada and within our own.
