Mask update: Ontario Government has announced that masking requirements will be removed in many indoor settings as of March 21, 2022; however, this does not include health-care settings, as of that date. As regulated health professions, we continue to practise in accordance with COVID-19 guidance for the health sector, including masks for health professionals, staff and patients, and active screening requirements, pending any further direction from the Ontario Government.

No time for exercise? Trust me I get it. With our hectic schedules these days sometimes it seems next to impossible to find time for ourselves. If we want to stay healthy to be able to do all of the things we love, and participate and help those around us we have to find a way make that time available.
The World Health Organization recommends 150-300 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week or 75-150 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise per week. This is a generalization for the average individual age 18-64 with no significant health issues. In addition, 2 sessions of muscle strengthening activities that involve all major muscle groups is also recommended.
This may sound overwhelming….if so start with small goals. Try 15 minutes/day of walking. The hardest part is just getting started. You are totally capable and you DO have 15 minutes.
You are worth it.
