We are happy to have Emily Banman continuing on her clinic hours at Renew and we are excited to announce that Mathew Guenther will be joining us as well!! Both Emily & Mathew are in their Advanced Year (2) at Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies and their focus this year incorporates more treatment components of musculoskeletal conditions. If you are booking with a student this year, please take note that their clinic proctor will pop in at some point during the treatment for a brief moment as required by the College in order to mentor the student better and be a source of guidance if needed. If the patient has questions at that time, the proctor can be a resource for both the student and the patient.

Online booking is open and available to o current clients at Renew. If you are a new client at our clinic, please call us at 204-325-8386 to book your first appointment. We are pleased to provide these student services to you at a reduced rate of only $45 for a 60 min massage (tax included). Please take note that these services cannot be claimed on your private insurance or on your income tax as a health related expense as the students are not fully licensed yet. Thank you for your understanding!

Apparently my caption wasn’t with my post yesterday so I deleted the previous one & posting here again.

Thank you to the host committee for inviting us to volunteer in the medical tent for the Nationals in Winkler & Morden! We had such a fun day yesterday being able to assist the athletes with some injuries & helping them get back onto the field. The real hero’s this week are all the volunteers of the host committee who have planned this event so well and it was all running so smoothly. did an amazing job of organizing the medial tent volunteer schedule and it was an honor to work together with all the other volunteers. We have amazing people in our communities who are ready to serve and help however they can and it’s just inspiring to work alongside all these professionals who have my utmost respect. If you haven’t checked out the U15 Boys & Girls Nationals in Winkler & Morden yet, don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to see so many talented athletes compete from across Canada! It’s pretty incredible. Good luck to all the teams competing!

Kelly Vipond (Counsellor) has set up a beautiful space at Renew and we have been hearing amazing reviews! Her patients love the private and quiet space that feels so comforting and puts them at ease during their sessions with her. Kelly is seeing a huge need for her services in our region as she was completely booked up with the hours she was initially offering. She has now opened up a lot more availability for patients to see her in person at Renew. If you’d like to book a session with her, you can find a direct link to her online booking page on our website (link in bio). If we have any availability for the week, we will be posting that in our stories with the link for her online booking there as well. Don’t hesitate to book a session with her before she fills up again. You can also call the clinic during the week at 204-325-8386 if you’d prefer to book an appointment that way. If you have insurance coverage, most Blue Cross insurance plans cover her services, but please check with your plan to confirm what your coverage includes.

We are sad to announce that today is Lee's last day at Renew Wellness Center. It has been a fantastic 5 years working alongside Lee! He has decided to continue working on his own at a private space in Winkler as it allows him more flexibility for his family. Lee always has a smile on his face and a whistle that can be heard throughout the clinic. Not only is he a fantastic therapist, but he was always quick to help when the snow was building up to shovel the sidewalks or put down the salt/sand to make sure all our client had a safe entry/exit to our building. He would also constantly be repairing things around the clinic before it was even noticed by anyone else. We will do our best to keep the clinic & sidewalks in tip top shape in his absence.

If you are interested in continuing to see Lee at his new location, please call our clinic and we would be happy to give you his number to see if he has any availability.

As one door closes for one therapist here at Renew, that leaves an opening for another therapist to join our team.....and we have already filled that spot! Stay tuned for more details about a new therapist joining our team!

We are excited to have Emily Banman starting at Renew this Friday during the day! She is already fully booked for her first 3 weeks which is super exciting, so if you’d like to get a massage with her for only $30/hour, make sure you contact our office asap. If you’re a current client, you can book online but if you are a new client, you’ll need to contact us at 204-325-8386 to book your first appointment.

We have 3 Advanced Students who are in their last year of schooling that are also currently at Renew. An hour massage with an Advanced Student is $40 and we have availability on Monday evenings, Thursday afternoons & evenings, Fridays during the day and Saturdays! So many options to get an affordable massage. Please take note that student massages can NOT be claimed on your insurance.

Today is Sydney’s last day at Renew before she moves on to continue her practice at her new location on South Railway in Winkler. We have really enjoyed working with her over the past 4 years & are excited for her to continue her practice in a way that better suits her family’s life schedule.
