I couldn't do it without all of you! I am a Registered Massage Therapist with 16 years experience and have training in Swedish massage, Labour support therapy, Hot stone massage, Instrument assisted Soft tissue Mobilization, and Myofascial release. In June 2022 I completed my birth doula training! I primarily focus on deep tissue treatments, however I am capable of making you fall asleep with my relaxation massage as well! Did you know I offer instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization or IASTM?

Between the muscles, skin, and bone there are layers of fibrous connective tissue called fascia. This fascial tissue is primarily made up of collagen fibers, and are designed to stabilize and allow flexibility of tissues. Sometimes after an injury, adhesions form which can limit the function, range of motion of muscles, joints, and other tissues.

IASTM can help loosen or release these adhesions through the use of special instruments and techniques.

Some other benefits of IASTM include:

Decreased pain.
Restoring proper function.
Speeding up recovery time.
Reducing inflammation.
Improved mobility.
Alleviating chronic pain conditions.
