Consistency > Motivation

Everyone loves motivation… but let’s be honest — motivation comes and goes.

Consistency is what actually changes you.

It’s showing up when it’s cold.
It’s showing up when you’re tired.
It’s showing up when you’d rather sit on the couch.

It’s the workouts that weren’t perfect.
The days you lifted lighter.
The days you almost didn’t come… but did anyway.

Those are the ones that build strength and where progress shines through.

You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to keep showing up.

And that’s exactly what we do at Candace Nicoll Fitness — together.

Cooking with Candace

Another simple meal idea that also doubles as an easy meal prep option.

Cook your ground beef (roughly a pound), drain the fat. Add 1 chopped pepper, 20g Gochujang Sauce, 80g soy sauce, 30g brown sugar and 1.5 teaspoons of minced garlic. Heat in a frying pan over medium heat until the pepper is tender.

I love to serve it on a bed of rice. But you can enjoy it however you like.

Today on Cooking with Candace we’re making a bowl!

I love making bowls; there are so many different options and you can make them using leftovers, you can make them for meal prep, you can make them for breakfast and you can add as many or few ingredients as you want.

Sunshine, Sundays and Skating….Oh and a reminder that you don’t have to be good at something to do it. If you want to go skating and haven’t been before you go, take up space and take a few laps around your nearest ODR.

Don’t have skates? Borrow a pair from friend or you can thrift a pair.
