Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean we have to stay inside.

Living in Winnipeg means winter gives us so many ways to move and have fun — there truly is something for everyone.
Skating, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, winter walks, sliding, or even just getting outside for some fresh air.

You don’t have to be good at it.
You don’t have to go for long.
You just have to try.

Movement doesn’t need to be perfect to count — it just needs to be enjoyed. So bundle up, try something new, laugh a little, and remember that winter can still be a season of movement, joy, and fresh starts. 🤍

I’m so excited to announce the next round of Total Body Circuit Classes! These classes are designed for all fitness levels—come as you are, and let’s get stronger together. 💪💕

Ready to feel confident, powerful, and truly at home in the gym? My 12-week strength training program is officially open for registration!

• 3 days/week: Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
• Class time: 5:00 PM
• Duration: ~40 minutes

This program is all about learning proper form, building strength, and developing real confidence in the gym. Every class is led and closely supervised by me, a certified personal trainer, so you never have to guess if you’re lifting correctly—we make sure you’re supported every step of the way.

Social Media Break 💛

CNF will be taking a little breather from social media this week. With December and January right around the corner, I’m using this time to reset, plan ahead, and give myself a few much-needed screen-free days.

These next couple of months are some of the busiest of the year, and taking care of my mental health and well-being is a priority I encourage all of you to lean into too.

“I’m good.”
Honestly… this is one of my favourite things to hear from a client.

Because when you say I’m good, it means you’re not feeling bad.
You’re not exhausted.
You’re not overwhelmed.
You’re not sad, stressed, or dragging yourself through the day.

You’re good. And we don’t celebrate that enough.

Think about the last time someone asked, “How are you?”
Did you say “good”?
Or did you launch into “I’m so tired… I’m stressed… I just want to go home…”?

We get so used to talking about how worn down we feel that we forget how powerful it is to simply feel good. To be okay. To be steady. To be in a place where your mind and body feel aligned.

And the truth is—feeling good doesn’t just happen.
We create it.

By moving our bodies.
By showing up for ourselves.
By choosing habits that support our energy instead of drain it.
By doing the small, simple things that remind us we’re capable and worthy.

So today, focus on the things that make you feel good.
Because “good” is a damn good place to be. 💛💪

Let’s talk goals — the big ones, the scary ones, the ones that feel just a little out of reach.

For as long as I can remember, one of my biggest personal goals has been to bench press a plate on each side. I still remember the very first time I got it up… and then shortly after, I injured myself and had to drop the weight right back down.

I built back up, hit it again…
And now?
It’s a regular part of my routine.

There is something so satisfying and so special about hitting a goal you’ve had in your heart for years. But here’s your reminder:

👉 Goals take work.
👉 Goals take time.
👉 And it’s SO easy to quit when progress feels slow.

But when you stick with it — through the setbacks, the frustrations, the days you don’t feel strong — the feeling of finally achieving that goal?
Unmatched. Life-changing. Worth every second.

So whatever your “one-plate bench” looks like… keep chasing it.
Your future self is going to be so damn proud you didn’t quit. 💥
