There’s something kind of funny about the amount of power we give these little watches on our wrists.
Today mine proudly told me I’d reached my “stand goal”… after I’d been sitting at my computer for over an hour doing all the glamorous parts of running a business. You know… emails, scheduling, paperwork, spreadsheets — the really exciting stuff.
And it got me thinking… maybe instead of letting a watch tell us how we feel, we should spend a little more time listening to our actual bodies.
Do you feel energized?
Strong?
Rested?
Ready to take on the day?
Or are you feeling sluggish, stiff, exhausted, and disconnected from yourself?
Because I know when I’m doing the things my body truly needs — moving regularly, fueling myself well, drinking water, resting, managing stress — I FEEL amazing. And no notification on a watch could ever measure that properly.
Your watch can track movement… but your body tells the real story.
