You’ve probably seen these white balls at our reception 👀
But do you actually know what they’re used for?
These are lacrosse balls – a simple yet highly effective tool for self-massage and releasing muscle tension.
They’re commonly used for:
▫️ relieving tension in the back and neck
▫️ working on trigger points
▫️ relaxing the feet
▫️ recovery after workouts
How to use them:
▫️ Back
Stand with your back against a wall, place the ball between your back and the wall, and slowly roll over tight areas.
▫️ Neck / shoulders
Press the ball against a wall around your shoulder or upper back and hold on a tender spot for 20–30 seconds.
▫️ Feet
Place the ball under your foot and gently roll it back and forth, adjusting the pressure.
Important: Mild discomfort is normal. Sharp pain is not. No need to push yourself to the limit – your body won’t thank you for that.
Our therapists can also show you how to use a lacrosse ball properly based on your specific needs 🖐️
