Five facts about facial massage that make you want to book 👇

1️⃣ Facial massage is not just about skin, it’s about your muscles

Your face has over 40 muscles. They hold tension, stress, and fatigue just like the rest of the body. Facial massage relaxes muscles, improves circulation, and supports the skin’s natural renewal processes.

2️⃣ Natural lifting — no injections

Regular facial massage helps define the jawline, soften tension, and improve facial contours. The lifting effect comes from muscle work and lymphatic flow, not from temporary surface tightening.

3️⃣ Less puffiness, more freshness

By stimulating lymphatic drainage, facial massage reduces fluid retention and puffiness, especially around the eyes. Many clients notice a brighter, more refreshed look after just one session.

4️⃣ When the face relaxes, the whole body follows

The face is closely connected to the nervous system. Releasing tension in the jaw, forehead, and temples helps calm the mind and reduce overall stress. This is why facial massage often feels deeply relaxing.

5️⃣ Changes you feel first, then see

Facial massage creates change from the inside out. As muscles gradually release and circulation improves, the skin responds naturally. Over a series of treatments, the face feels lighter and more at ease, while the skin appears more lifted, better supported, and visibly refreshed.

If you’re looking for a therapeutic session that also delivers aesthetic benefits, a neck, face, and scalp massage is something you truly need to experience.
Most people don’t stop at one 🤍

Meet , a Certified Athletic Therapist 👋🏼

Hallie is a recent graduate of the University of Winnipeg, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy. As a newly certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA), she is excited to step into this role and support individuals in the community through active recovery, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

She completed two years of hands-on practicum working with the Winnipeg Wesmen Women’s Basketball team and the RINK Hockey Academy. These placements allowed her to work closely with a wide variety of athletes across different ages in high-performance environments, gaining experience in injury assessment, on-field care, rehabilitation programming, and return-to-play programming. Her past clinic placements also gave her the opportunity to work with the general population of all different ages and backgrounds. So even if you aren’t an athlete, you can book with Hallie and she’ll make you feel like one.

Hallie is certified in soft tissue release, cupping therapy, first responder care, and first aid. Her approach to treatment is evidence-based and client-centred, tailored to each individual’s goals. Whether you are returning to sport, staying active, or simply want to feel better in daily life, she looks forward to helping bring athletic therapy to the community 🫶🏻

Massage Therapy and Athletic Therapy both support your body — just in different ways. Here’s the difference 👇

✔️ Massage Therapy focuses mainly on hands-on treatment — releasing muscle tension, reducing pain, improving circulation, and helping the body relax and recover.

✔️ Athletic Therapy starts with a more detailed assessment and movement testing. The focus is on how your body moves, how joints and muscles work together, and what might be causing pain or limitations in daily life. Treatment often includes hands-on work, guided movements, exercises, and practical strategies you can use outside the clinic.

Athletic Therapy is helpful not only for sports or injuries, but also for everyday issues like recurring pain, stiffness, posture problems, discomfort from work or long hours sitting, and learning how to move better and more confidently.

Massage and Athletic Therapy work beautifully together — one focuses more on tissue and relief, the other on movement, function, and long-term support.

Athletic therapy services are covered under most health insurance plans, so it’s time to book your treatment with now 🫶

Just returned from an exotic country vacation, with long walks on the beach and constant movement on soft, shifting sand? 🏝️

Walking on sand is not the same as walking on solid ground.
From a biomechanics point of view, it’s continuous balance training.

Sand is an unstable surface. With every step, your body has to constantly adapt:
• the feet search for stable contact
• the ankles make micro-corrections
• the lower legs work harder to control movement
• the hips stabilize the pelvis to keep you upright

This process relies heavily on proprioception — your body’s ability to sense position, movement, and load in space.

That’s why after vacation many people notice:
• tight hips
• heavy or sore calves
• ankle stiffness
• subtle lower back tension

If this sounds familiar, your body might be quietly asking for a reset.
A massage can help release overworked tissues, restore ease in the hips and lower legs, and gently bring your system back into balance.

February is National Heart Month ❤️

Your heart works non-stop — and stress plays a bigger role in heart health than many people realize.

Chronic tension, poor sleep, and constant stress can:
– increase blood pressure
– affect circulation
– raise cortisol levels
– put extra strain on the cardiovascular system

Massage therapy supports heart health by:
– helping reduce stress and anxiety
– improving circulation
– supporting better sleep
– promoting overall relaxation and recovery

Even small, regular habits matter. Taking time to slow down, breathe deeply, and care for your body isn’t a luxury — it’s part of prevention.

This February, make your heart health a priority!
