Pharmacists continue to help achieve Sustainable Developments Goal 3, which involves ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.

In the past year in Manitoba, we have administered COVID-19 vaccines (recently expanded to include administration to children 2 yrs and up), have started to participate in the Smoking Cessation Social Impact Bond and are helping patients to quit smoking, have dispensed Paxlovid (for COVID+ patients), have started prescribing for uncomplicated cystitis, and more. All these on top of our other duties and expanded scopes of practice as a pharmacist. We remain to be the most accessible healthcare provider and we continue to use our knowledge and skills to ensure everyone’s health and well-being. A big thank you to all the Manitoba Pharmacists! 👏🏼
