WHEN DAD THINKS HE'S A WIZARD

These two sisters brought so much joy to our store today! While their family was browsing other sections, the sisters were happily sharing their thoughts and exploring our products. Their cheerful energy and playful interactions made us love having them around even more. When I asked if I could take a photo, they happily agreed and after a funny comment, one of them pointed out their father, who’s full of humor, making the moment even more memorable. He jokingly said our store looks magical and that he should work with us because he looks magical too and his funny face reminded us of characters from the Harry Potter movies! The sisters picked up some of our new release oils and were thrilled with the Green Tea and Coffee blends. They also chose the Lullaby Sleep roll-on, noting how calming it is. BEWARE THE EVIL EYE...OR NOT!

Meet Auntie Anna, a sweet and cheerful visitor from the Portage area, originally from Turkey. She shared that every time she passes by our Bathala store, it brings a smile to her face, reminding her of some of the products she treasures at home. Auntie Anna loves supporting local businesses and always brightens our day with her presence. During her visit, we chatted about the Turkish Eye, also known as the Evil Eye. She believes in its protective energy, saying it brings positivity, wards off negative vibes, and keeps her family safe, a tradition many homes in her hometown still honor. She shared some helpful tips. It’s important to display the Evil Eye in your home or wear it as jewelry to attract positive energy, and gifting it to friends and family spreads protection and good vibes. However, it’s equally important to respect its meaning. Don’t point it at others or treat it as just decoration, as its purpose is to deflect negativity, not create it. CHEAT SHEET FOR HAPPINESS

Hello and welcome back to Winnipeg! We were so happy to see these two lovely ladies from Winkler again. We first met them at the farmer’s market, and it was hilarious to watch them pull out their “cheat sheet” a list of stones and products they wanted to customize. They shared that stopping by our Bathala store has become a must-do part of their visits to Winnipeg. Every time they come in, they feel uplifted and excited, especially when trying our roll-on blended oils. Their favorites are the Aphrodisiac, Cleanse, and Energize blends, and they even order online if they run out. Watching them carefully pick the perfect products for themselves and gifts for their boyfriends was both funny and heartwarming. Their joy and energy always brighten our store!

Meet Arun, one of our happiest and jolliest visitors! Every time he stops by Bathala, he makes sure to check out our Japanese incense especially his favorites, Sandalwood and Jasmine. Arun loves how our incense burns cleanly and smoothly, filling his space with grounding scents that remind him of home. Living in St. James, Arun shared that lighting our incense has become part of his routine whenever he wants to create a calm, comforting atmosphere in his space. His loyalty and cheerful energy always brighten our store, and it’s customers like him that make what we do so meaningful. As a special note, we reminded Arun that our current Bathala incense stocks are limited, as we’ll be introducing new products next year. Meet Harriet! She stopped by our store excited for an upcoming party and was thrilled to find the perfect gift. Harriet said the vibe in our store is different, she feels happy and can sense the positivity in our space. She was so happy with her customized bracelet that she even asked us to take a photo with our products.
