So! It turns out that I left my laptop at work so I couldn't post my 2 previous brushes to the shop. That's ok though cause I made 4 more yesterday! 👍

I promise I'll post all 6 to the Etsy shop tomorrow evening 🇨🇦🤘

I managed to get 2 handles done the other day, I had a 3rd one but it cracked and broke 😞

Still figuring out my setup but it works at the moment haha. Once I have something more sturdy/permanent I can start pouring new blanks!

I'll try to have these 2 posted in the shop tomorrow or Thursday 👍👍

Been a little MIA as of lately. I was busy buying my first house!!

Now that we've got most of our things unpacked I can get started on setting up shop! No more 2 hr drives!!!!

As you can see in the 2nd pic I'm literally starting from scratch so bear with me as I get situated. Working on picking up a small bench so I can at least start making brushes again! Gonna try to start making some handles next week hopefully 🤞🤞

Good to be back!!

After not having a vehicle, horrible weather, house shopping (still working on that) and bad mental health, I finally managed to get out to the shop! About halfway through my day my belt snapped on my lathe but luckily I still had my old lathe so I made do.

I'll try to have these all posted to the shop in the next day or so. The first 3 are 26mm and the last 2 are 28mm

At the beginning of January, some idiot thought it would be fun to smash my windshield. I finally got myself into a rental vehicle last week and am hopefully expecting my car back next week.
To anyone who doesn't know, the shop I work out of is about 3-3.5 hours round trip so I'm not able to always make brushes when I want to. Add to this the bad weather we've been experiencing out here that's shutting down highways so now I can't go when I have a whole day available.
Long story short, I'll be hopefully heading out to the shop tomorrow to make a few handles and maybe even try making a shaving bowl 🤞

Just for curiosity (and to see if anyone read the whole thing 😉), would there be any interest in me making brushes for different size knots? I currently make 26mm regularly but could do between 24-30mm with possibly ordering in different size knots in the future. Let me know!
