Dr. Ac. Wei (Wayne) Zou worked as a physician in China for 10 years. He graduated from Norman Bethune Health Science Center of Jilin University, where he studied both modern Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine for five years, and studied for additional three years to earn a Master’s degree in Clinical Hematology. He practiced at Beijing Daopei Hospital, Beijing military general hospital and Beijing Royal Integrative Medicine Hospital for 10 years. He is an expert at diagnosis and treatment of hematologic diseases, autoimmune diseases, oncological (tumor related) diseases, and also for the common body balance containing, including Pain, Sleep problems, Sub-Health Condition etc.
Dr. Zou practices as an TCMD (Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor), Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Acupressure Therapist in Canada for about 3 years (in Eastern Healing Center and All Balance Wellness Center). Besides acupuncture, acupressure and herbal prescription, he also provides Cupping, Blood Letting Therapy, Dragon-Fire Therapy and some other special treatments.

Knee pain

The knee pain more often has multiple causal factors. It can be caused by core muscles weak(gluteal medius), degenerative changes to the meniscus, flat feet or collapsed foot arches, being overweight(since additional weight adds extra pressure to the joint and bones), direct injury, arthritis.

How to prevent knee pain:

• Stretch hamstring and quadratus femoris, piriformis if you go to gym often

• Strengthening gluteus medius before doing squads with weight

• Maintain body weight

• Foam roll or massage gluteal medius and piriformis

• Skip high heels
