🚨🚨TENT CREW MEMBER (CASUAL/SUMMER POSITION)🚨🚨

We are seeking a reliable individual to support tent set-ups and take-downs for various events located throughout Winnipeg and its surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a solid side income, and enjoys working outdoors with a fun (most of the time) group of people.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Assist with tent crew to set-up or take-down tents
• Help unload tents, equipments, or furniture (as required) from the vehicle
• Help set up lights within the tents
• Must be able to follow instructions given by team leader
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
• A valid driver's license is an asset

IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Comfortable with manual labour and physical tasks
• Ability to follow simple instructions provided by team leader or crew members
• Someone looking for extra income. This is not a full-time position
• A valid driver’s license is an asset

WHAT TO EXPECT

Compensation: $24 per hour, depending on skills and experience

Each email will outline info such as tasks, location, pay, and expected time to complete the job. If it fits your availability, reply “I’m available”; if not, just ignore the email.

Jobs are awarded based on past availability, past performance, or relevant experience. We will then call you arrange details. There will always be an experienced team leader at the site to help guide you during set-up/take-down.

🚨🚨PART-TIME OFFICE + OPERATIONS COORDINATOR (SUMMER POSITION)🚨🚨

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on individual to support both office administration and day-to-day operations during the busy summer season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of computer-based work, customer service, and the occasional hands-on support at events.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Assist with scheduling and logistics for staff, vehicles, tent installations, and take-downs
• Assist with implementing a new CRM system
• Manage emails, customer communication, quotes, and invoicing
• Provide occasional on-site assistance with tent setups, take-downs, and event-related tasks
• Organize and maintain the shop and office so that materials, supplies, and equipment are kept in order. This may require wiping down tent supplies, furniture, or any equipment.

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Experience with scheduling, quoting, invoicing, or working with a small business
• Basic social media skills
• Ability to draw simple seating plans or event layouts

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple moving parts
• Tech-savvy with strong computer literacy. Able to navigate different programs, understand basic computer functions, and troubleshoot minor technical issues independently
• Confident with customer service, handling phone calls, and professional email communication
• Comfortable with both desk-based administrative work and occasional hands-on physical tasks
• Previous experience in administration, events, or logistics is an asset
• A valid driver’s license is an asset

ROLE DETAILS

Compensation: $18 – $21 per hour, depending on skills and experience

Schedule: 15 hours per week over 3-4 days, with flexible scheduling. Additional hours may be available for candidates who are open to supporting a broader mix of responsibilities, such as tent set-up or take-down, event support, and shop organization.

Term: Summer seasonal role from May 15 to September 15. Start and end dates are flexible for the right candidate.
