Who’s Doing Your Treatment???
Deciding on which series of treatments were conversations between our patient and dermatologist Dr. Minuk.

Here’s your homework

For the next 2-3 hours…

1. Don’t rub or massage the treated areas

2. Don’t lie down

3. Use the muscles (make funny faces) as often as you can allowing for maximum uptake of Botox by the treated muscles

It’s reported that 1 in every 200 births will have a Port Wine Stain birthmark. Treatment has evolved with excellent results seen with use of specialty lasers used by Dermatologists. In Winnipeg, Dr. Minuk uses the gold standard VBeam laser.

Dislikes-
-The word ‘tox’
- lip flip- totally dislike
- lip flip- last only weeks
- when poorly done can give you a duck lip, uneven smile or can’t suck on a straw

Likes & thoughts
Lip filler- YES why not!
- ask injector for the photos results after 3-4 weeks not right after injection
- ask injector if they know how to treat an emergency complication like a clogged blood vessel (vascular occlusion)😳😩
- enhancement may last 6 months but occasional lasts much, much longer.
