Strive Fitness and Therapy in Winnipeg has served patients, adults, and athletes since 2013 from our 8800 square foot facility on Waverley Street. Our multidisciplinary team provides evidence-based physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, athletic therapy, mental performance coaching, and personal training programs. We offer individualized assessment and treatment approaches for various conditions and fitness goals. Our team works with clients seeking rehabilitation following injury, pain management solutions, or athletic performance development. Located in South Winnipeg, we're accessible to residents from Bridgewater, Lindenwoods, and River Heights.

👋 Meet Dave (MPT Exam Candidate, B.Kin(AT), CAT(C)), the newest member of our physiotherapy clinical team!

Dave earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology in Athletic Therapy from the University of Manitoba in 2023 and recently completed his Master of Physical Therapy in 2025. With experience working with the UM Bisons football team, he’s built a strong foundation in injury prevention, rehab, and return-to-sport care.🎓

His own background as a competitive athlete inspired his passion for physiotherapy. After experiencing the value of rehab firsthand, he knew he wanted to help others recover, build confidence, and get back to the activities they love — whether in sport, work, or daily life.
Outside the clinic, you can find Dave weight training, playing basketball or golf, or enjoying time at the lake with family and friends. 🏃‍♂️ 🏀

We’re proud to recognize Claire Signatovich — a Winnipeg athlete who has completed her University career and is about to take her next step to the professional level! ⛹️‍♀️🏆

Claire began training at Strive while in High School at Oak Park. Since then, she committed to the University of Alberta where she was a four-time Canada West All-Star, three-time Canada West Defensive Player of the Year, and two-time USPORTS Defensive Player of the Year. Claire has trained in morning time slots when she is home for the summers and it is always great to see her connect with our morning engineer clients and other athletes in the gym.🏅

Claire was also a five-time USPORTS Academic All-Canadian, finished with an Engineering Degree and is currently taking a pause in her Masters Studies. Claire is excited to pursue a career in chemical engineering after her playing career.🤓🧪

Claire signed a pro contract and is heading to Germany for the 2025/26 season to play for the Falcons Bad Homburg Basketball Club of Division 2 Bundesliga.🏀

We are excited to see Claire take on this new challenge, as off the court she loves to run, hike, bike, enjoy the outdoors, bake croissants, and work on her cooking skills.👩‍🍳

We’re honoured to have her enshrined on our wall!🙌 💚

Colwyn Abgrall takes the win! 🏆⛳️
After back-to-back rounds of 68, Colwyn clinched 1st place at the PGA of Manitoba Zone
Championship!

Winning on a 2nd round playoff hole on the 8th. Approach from 136 yards out with a 8 foot birdie putt to seal the championship🙌

Next stop: Montreal, where he’ll represent at the PGA of Canada National Championship Tuesday through Thursday next week. Let’s go, Colwyn! 🔥👏
