Residents at Venvi Churchill Place in Oakville were treated to a tasty presentation from a local student entrepreneur. Charlotte, a 15-year-old with a passion for baking, started her business, Grain & Loaf Co, to showcase that healthy can also mean delicious. Specializing in whole grain, good for you baked items, Charlotte is dedicated to bringing fresh, locally sourced, and handcrafted goods to customers.

Joined by her mother and grandmother, Charlotte brought her baked scones, muffins, and challah bread to share with residents, who were inspired by her energy and passion. She shared her story, recounting how she had taught herself to bake through trial and error, experimenting with healthier ingredients to make her treats more nutritious without sacrificing taste.

By the end of the presentation, Charlotte not only shared her delicious baked goods but also forged connections bridging generations through the joy of baking.

The Bentley Regina recently celebrated their grand re-opening after months of renovations. Residents were joined by Regina’s Mayor, Chad Bachynski, and other members of the community who were able to enjoy the inviting new spaces. The residence features an ode to The Capitol Theatre and an all-new pub called The Honking Goose Tavern. Guests had the opportunity to sample the Pension Plan Pilsner, a collaboration with The Bentley Regina and Pile O Bones Brewery located in Regina - a true Saskatchewan beer. ✨ Walker Wash & Tune-Up – A Wheel-y Good Time! ✨

Yesterday was all about fun, laughter, and a little ice cream magic at Venvi The Wellington ! 💧🛠️ Our residents rolled in for our Walker Wash & Tune-Up event, and it was nothing short of spectacular.

Think car wash… but for walkers! 🧽🚗
We had shining chrome, squeaky-clean wheels, and experts (aka Reliable Mobility !) giving each walker the VIP treatment.
It was all hands on deck as we scrubbed, tuned, tightened, and added a little flair – all while sharing laughs and great conversation.
You’ve never seen mobility aids look so glamorous!

A big thank you to our residents for joining in the fun – and to our management team who once again came together to make this quirky, feel-good event such a success. 💙

A new resident at Venvi Windsor Park retirement residence felt overwhelmed on her first day, until a group of compassionate residents embraced her warmly. Over lunch, they shared stories and realized they all hailed from the same Italian town. What began as a simple gesture blossomed into an hour of laughter, camaraderie, and encouragement.
