The Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation is a non profit organization dedicated to helping children with disabilities and special needs be as independent as possible. We are the fundraising arm for the Rehabilitation Centre for Children (RCC)--an outpatient facility providing rehabilitation services and specialized health clinics for children and youth who live with life-long conditions. Every year, over 22,000 visits are made to RCC.

Scarlett’s bright spirit and smile lights up every room she enters. Although she lives with a condition that impacts her motor movement and speech, she continues to grow, connect and thrive with the dedicated support of the Rehabilitation Centre for Children.

In honour of CRF friends Brendan Berg and Olivia Michalczuk, we’re gathering tomorrow evening in Winnipeg for something truly special. Brendan’s band, Pie The Music of Cake, will be performing and generously donating a portion of the proceeds to the LIFE Program’s Music Therapy.

This program supports youth ages 2–20, along with their families and caregivers, creating a welcoming space for those living with physical and/or developmental disabilities. Through singing, dancing, socializing and playing instruments, participants experience connection, confidence and pure moments of joy.

Music was a deep passion shared by both Brendan and Olivia. It brought light, energy and meaning to their lives. Through this performance, their love of music will continue to uplift others. 🧡

This past year, Claire has made an incredible impact as Ambassador for the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation, sharing her story, radiating energy and raising meaningful awareness for CRF’s mission.

From cutting the ribbon alongside Paralympian Leanne Taylor at Cruisin’ to Change Lives, highlighting the importance of assistive technology with her PAWS wheelchair attachment at A Night of Miracles and advocating for her peers during media interviews at the Winnipeg Jets meet and greet, Claire has used every opportunity to inspire and lead.

Claire, your spirit, passion and commitment are helping shape brighter futures for so many children. We are deeply grateful for all you’ve done as our ambassador. Thank you for sharing your heart and being such a powerful beacon of hope.

What a fantastic night at the Rotary Club of Winnipeg West's Chicken Fest Kick-Off! 🍗

Thank you to everyone who came out to support an evening filled with fun, hope, and community in support of the LIFE Program’s Sun & Fun Summer Camp. Heartfelt events like this help brighten the days of youth living with physical or developmental disabilities, giving them the chance to experience a summer in a supportive and inclusive environment.
