Participate in research!

The PGx-GAP study is now accepting referrals from Manitoba doctors for adolescents starting or changing antidepressant medications. The PGx-GAP trial is a research project exploring whether genetic testing can help doctors choose the most effective antidepressant medications for teens. Participants or their caregivers are compensated for their time to complete 3 short monthly surveys.

This study is open to adolescents aged 12 – 17 years in Western Canada (MB, SK, AB, BC) who are starting or changing medication for depression and/or anxiety.

Participate in research!

Are you a parent with a young child (3-7 years old) who is interested in helping us understand the benefits of online group therapy? Researchers are currently recruiting participants for a control group as a healthy comparison to help understand how group therapy can improve mental health and well-being.

Participation involves, completing online questionnaires about parenting and mental health, bringing your child to three in-person sessions (Fort Garry Campus) where they will complete play-based tasks related to reading and self-regulation, and contributing to research that helps us understand how to better support families through targeted online interventions.
