Villa Rosa Inc. Villa Rosa provides shelter, education, support and programming for pregnant women and new mothers with babies.

Villa Rosa provides pre- and post-natal services and supports in a safe and nurturing environment to women who are pregnant or have recently given birth. Any pregnant woman or new mother may access our services free of charge. Services offered include shelter, breastfeeding support, medical care, on-site schooling up to Grade 12 administered by Winnipeg School Division, Aboriginal Studies, Early Literacy Programs, cooking instruction, aquasize, addictions awareness, anger management, parenting programs,adoption awareness, budgeting, nutrition, Saving Circle and post-natal housing.

February, is I Love to Read Month! Visit any library branch on Saturdays and in the evenings during February to celebrate I Love to Read Month with free programs for the whole family and to sign up for a library card!

Registration for family performer programs is now open! All other February programs open on Monday, January 12 at 10 a.m.

This beautiful ceramic piece was created, piece by piece, by Villa Rosa students during the pandemic. It is a powerful reminder of what home truly means. It isn’t just about a physical address; it is about the sacred bond between mother and child, and the right for every child to grow up embraced by their culture and their community.
