We were honoured to welcome four incredible guest readers this week.

Her Honour Anita Neville shared two beautiful poems from I Hope You Remember, speaking with warmth and authenticity that truly resonated with our learners.

Leah Gazan shared personal stories from her life, reminding us that lived experience matters and that our stories can create change.

Lorelei Bunkowsky read What Feelings Do at Night, showing how picture books create a safe, equal space for all readers.

Brent Epp shared excerpts from Children Like Us and Finding Otipemisiwak, reminding us that growth and identity work are lifelong processes.

We offer a heartfelt thank you to all of this weekโ€™s guests for inspiring our students and celebrating literacy with us.

๐Ÿ’• Donation Request: Baby Swings (Plug-In Preferred)
Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Iโ€™m currently looking for baby swings to help support a family in need. Ideally, weโ€™re hoping for:

โœ… Plug-in baby swing (preferred)
โœ… New or gently used
โœ… Clean and in good working condition

If you have a swing youโ€™re no longer using โ€” or are able/willing to donate a new one โ€” it would make a huge difference for a family who could really use a bit of extra support right now.

Please send me a message if youโ€™re able to help, or share this with someone who might! ๐Ÿ’›

Thank you so much! ๐Ÿ™
