This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Following Up After Applying, where we'll take a look at the best ways to follow up with employers to stay connected and continue to affirm you as a good choice for a job offer.

This afternoon at 1:30pm is Coffee Club, our weekly peer support and social skill-building workshop. Today is participant choice of games, puzzles, and activities that we have on hand and we will decide together what we want to do at workshop start.

Good morning,

First up today is Better Communication (in all Your Relationships), with our Top 10 Tips for improving communication with others. This workshop is a great way to start the week with a focus on active listening and effective communication, which is sure to create fertile ground for positive outcomes and achieving goals.

At 1:30pm this afternoon, we have Self-Compassion, where we will learn the definition of self-compassion, the elements of it, and a bunch of ways to practice it. Being mindful of our self-talk and treating ourselves with kindness can reduce our suffering, and improve our health, among many other benefits.

Tuesdays at 10:00am, we have Mindful Movement with Caryn leading participants through a routine of gentle yet effective stretching, breath work, meditation and mindfulness. This approach regulates the nervous system, while exercising the body and soothing the person.

Good morning,

First up at 10:00am, today we have Top 10: Confidence, where we'll take a look at quick and accessible ways to boost confidence. These tips are great for temporarily boosting confidence before important things (like job interviews!), and when practiced regularly, they increase confidence in general.

Next up at 1:30pm, we have Job Search: Part 2. We'll pick up where we left off, then review the homework, that was assigned last week, together for the opportunity to offer each other feedback and encouragement.

Good morning,

We start off with 10:00am this morning with Top 10: Effective Communication this morning, where we'll learn about the best ways to develop healthy communication skills. Building these skills to use with others also has a positive influence on the way we communicate with self.

This afternoon at 1:30pm, is Job Search: Part 1 which takes participants through all of the techniques and tools to develop and use in order to customize and target an effective job search. Taking the time to attend to job search skills and approaches builds and displays the very transferable skills that employers look for!

This morning at 10:00am, we have Top 10: Boundaries where we'll take a look at what boundaries are, and why they're so important in relationships, including relationship with self.

Next up at 1:30pm, we have Hidden Job Market, which takes participants through the how's, what's and why's of this important, and often neglected, approach to searching for work. Tips and techniques for finding and accessing these hidden opportunities are provided, as well as a Network Tracker worksheet for organizing and recording contact information for effective follow-up and through.
