Here we are, on the eve of the Vernal Equinox and the days get longer!
As the song goes:
“Little darlin’ it’s been a long, cold, lonely winter.
Little darlin’
It feels like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun, doo-doo-do
Here comes the sun
And I say, “It’s all right”.

What a great start to a new season of growth. I will be sharing some thoughts and inspiration from my work and ongoing learning and sharing.

Original paintings in my reading space (and on my website) are by my brother Dan Thorkelson. He also has some breathtaking photographs of travels to Iceland, Portugal, Spain and other places but also locally the beauty of Hecla Island, the Interlake and other spots nearer to home. Dan also loves volunteering at The Leaf Conservatory and Assiniboine park.

The custom of wrapping your cards in silks and/or storing them in cedar has practical as well as esoteric meaning but I’ve added to the custom with some heirloom pins. A lovely way to keep and respect traditions.
