This past week we celebrated the official opening to the EPH Dining Room after undergoing renovations to improve the acoustics.

This renovation has been life-changing for the tenants. It is wonderful to see them engage in conversation and to see laughter at different tables. There is now a feeling of calm within the dining room and a definite shift in the environment that once was loud, chaotic and isolating to a space of comfort and connection. We were able to transform our dining room from a functional space into a social environment.

We are grateful for funding support from New Horizons for Seniors Program.

The Auxiliary Team gathered this week to hand create Cottage Cheese perogies for the tenants and residents. Together they created enough perogies for multiple meals.

Friday we held our annual Valentine’s event with decorated cupcakes and old time singalongs by Ronnie P.

Our wonderful friends from the Hilton Hotel joined us and helped spread the love, bringing Heart shaped balloons for all the Residents and Staff.

On Wednesday Tenants gathered together to celebrate Christmas. They enjoyed tasty treats with beautiful Christmas music accompaniment by Rebecca Owzarek.

The residents and families of 2 South had their opportunity to celebrate on Friday. Thank you to the Sandersons for once again bringing the delightful entertainment.
