Portsmouth Retirement Residence rolled the dice on fun as we celebrated our 25th Anniversary — Vegas Style! 🥳✨
From dazzling décor to show-stopping entertainment, our community came alive with the glitz and glamour of the Strip. Residents, families, and members of the communty enjoyed an evening filled with laughter, music, and a little bit of Vegas magic — complete with casino games and sparkling surprises! 🎲🎵💃
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this milestone unforgettable. Here's to 25 years of care, connection, and community — and to many more fabulous years ahead!

🚗🔥 Portsmouth came alive this week with a fantastic Classic Car Show and BBQ! Residents and visitors soaked up the sunshine, admired vintage cars, and enjoyed delicious grilled eats. A perfect day of community, chrome, and chargrilled goodness! 🏁🍔

Residents at Venvi Churchill Place in Oakville were treated to a tasty presentation from a local student entrepreneur. Charlotte, a 15-year-old with a passion for baking, started her business, Grain & Loaf Co, to showcase that healthy can also mean delicious. Specializing in whole grain, good for you baked items, Charlotte is dedicated to bringing fresh, locally sourced, and handcrafted goods to customers.

Joined by her mother and grandmother, Charlotte brought her baked scones, muffins, and challah bread to share with residents, who were inspired by her energy and passion. She shared her story, recounting how she had taught herself to bake through trial and error, experimenting with healthier ingredients to make her treats more nutritious without sacrificing taste.

By the end of the presentation, Charlotte not only shared her delicious baked goods but also forged connections bridging generations through the joy of baking.

The Bentley Regina recently celebrated their grand re-opening after months of renovations. Residents were joined by Regina’s Mayor, Chad Bachynski, and other members of the community who were able to enjoy the inviting new spaces. The residence features an ode to The Capitol Theatre and an all-new pub called The Honking Goose Tavern. Guests had the opportunity to sample the Pension Plan Pilsner, a collaboration with The Bentley Regina and Pile O Bones Brewery located in Regina - a true Saskatchewan beer. What a fantastic time we had at the Cooking for 1 class at St. James Assiniboia 55+ Centre 🧑‍🍳✨ We rolled up our sleeves, whipped up some delicious Lumpia, and even got to take some home to enjoy later. So many laughs, tasty bites, and great company. Huge thanks to everyone who came and made it such a fun and flavorful experience!

🌟 Heartwarming Generosity from Our Residents! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to share that our residents donated $700 to support fire evacuees, in just 2 days!
They went out and purchased much-needed supplies to help those affected. 🛒❤️
This act of kindness truly reflects the compassionate spirit of our community. We are grateful for their selflessness and dedication to making a positive impact. 🙏

🌸 A Blooming Day at Portsmouth! 🌸

Today was a special day as our wonderful residents rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty planting beautiful flowers for our indoor garden! 🌿🌼

With smiles on their faces and a twinkle in their eyes, they carefully planted each flower, bringing a burst of color and life to our residence. It's amazing to see the joy and sense of accomplishment this activity brings to everyone involved. 🌷😊

A new resident at Venvi Windsor Park retirement residence felt overwhelmed on her first day, until a group of compassionate residents embraced her warmly. Over lunch, they shared stories and realized they all hailed from the same Italian town. What began as a simple gesture blossomed into an hour of laughter, camaraderie, and encouragement.
