We desperately need this now! As the world has turned upside down and in a spiralling Pluto cycle, as well as powerful polarizing energies, transforming every facet of how we live and who we are, we must be open to re-enlivening our lives and living, assist others through compassion and understanding of what everyone is going through and REINVENT!. The Ancient comes in traditionally in ways of living that are basic, simple, soft (unencumbered) and as we have progressed, we realize that our way of living and thinking is very old, just as patriarchy (all the societal structures, forms, systems are old) and result in tremendous suffering to humans and non-humans alike. We are at the edge. This takes all of our will, vision, heart, resources, clarity and kindness, to move through and into the next phase.Astrologers and Shamans, Witches know the alchemy - what to mix, what to honour, what to release, what to move into, what to dispose of and what healthy, organic visceral "allowing" must take place. We cannot allow "trippy", external "fixes", righteous self aggrandizing, the many how to's, fixes, "help". We need to empty out. Have 'beginner's mind'. This is not the time for 'opinions, opinions, opinions' (as you read here), but rather to search your own heart and soul for ways forward.And not to be clouded by so-called ? adversaries "they"(eg. governments, parents, etc. ) . Look at your own trauma (where your anger, outrage, blame, etc. is coming from) and humbly bring awareness in order to transform. Its a mirror. We are all in this together. These are truly shamanic times and the cycles are clear, the messages are clear, the work is clear. Ancient Practical Wisdom comes into Daily Life, when we empty out, turn off our dualistic mind, our righteousness, our privilege and entitlement and our set aside our constant mental striving, to be entertained, distracted, a seeking/grasping mind, and connect to love, imagination, and step into the Great Unknown with passion, focus, and intention. Plus, we are in the Still Point of Neptune's station (14 Pisces 16) retrograde exact on June 16 but felt for a couple of weeks before and after the station point.

When Neptune goes retrograde it deepens the mystical dreamy nature of Neptune activating a portal into the realm of our imagination that helps to create our reality, due to an extended period of time when Neptune is at the still point.

This weekend it may be possible to see the Comet Catalina with Venus in the early morning sky. The Moon occults Venus at the Heart Chakra Gate as Venus descends into the Underworld on December 7 with the comet near by. These two factors are maximum wild card energy for this Venus gate.

Here is a beautiful passage by CAYELIN K CASTELL of Celestial Timings (who is abundant in sharing her knowledge) about the significant features of this Time: the last quarter moon, the Virgo Mysteries and the relationship to Norse Mythology.

Being of Icelandic heritage, Icelandic Myth stories ( especially in the month of December, with all the elves and grolls active!!!) tie into the description that Cayelin gives. At this time and in 2016, we are heavily influenced by the Virgo Mysteries.

"The Virgo mysteries are all about living in harmony with the patterning of life contained within the natural codes of knowledge located in our DNA. This includes being in harmony with the cycles and rhythms that helps us to know what time it is for us. Engaging in Living Ceremony that includes the imagery of co-weaving the web with Spider Woman or the Norse imagery of the Norns (who weave our fate) is a great way to connect with the synthesizing power of this Last Quarter Moon.

December 03, Thursday. The Last Quarter Moon passes 1.9° SW of Jupiter (21 Virgo 11) at 8:59 pm providing us with an expansive opportunity to receive new visions about the web we are co-weaving with the Norns.

In Norse mythology the web, or pattern of life, was known as ‘wyrd’ an Anglo- Saxo word for the unseen influences that create our reality.

The Norns are the weavers of this wyrd (or web) known by the names of Urd, Skuld and Verdandi loosely associated with past, present and future respectively.

Urd or the guardian of a bottomless well symbolizes the primal source of all unmanifest potential from where creation arises and then returns. Urd is also credited with being the weaver of the past.

Skuld is translated as “should”, meaning that most of what is to come is based on what has been or what has already happened. Another way to say it is, if you plant seeds of corn you “should” have a crop of corn as a result. However, that also depends on having the right soil, water, and sunlight and the absence of a destructive hail storm or locusts or something else that might destroy the crop. What “should” BE comes from surmising what “should” happen based on prior events, but that is not a guarantee.

In the simplest form Skuld is seen as the weaver of the future.Verdandi manifests the present moment or what is coming into being now. What is manifesting now depends on our past beliefs, thoughts, and actions.

In the realm of Wyrd these three Norns each have a specific purpose. Urd describes what we can’t see or perceive. It is unmanifest potential. Verdani is what we can see and experience directly as it is what is manifesting now. And Skuld is the future that we anticipate through logic, intuition and divination.These are the main strands or weavings of the Wyrd or the Web that connect us all.

We influence the web and the web influences us. Everything everyone does affects everything and everyone within the web of life throughout all the timelines and parallel realities.These threads weave the intricate patterns and timelines that are constantly shifting and changing as new patterns are woven based on our conscious participation with what is unfolding.

The intersection of these potential timelines means our future is not set and we have choice points where we can co-create a new pattern and become an intricate part of a weaving that reflects our conscious choices. We are not victims of a set reality and we can positively influence all other timelines as they too are evolving toward the ONE."

When my niece Bryna was about 5 or 6 years old, or so, she once, out of the blue, said "I care about everything!". This is how I feel these days.

Now that we have been released from the oppression of crystallized outer political and social structures, it is up to us to re-engage - inside and out. Let our Compassion find expression, bring our Truth/our Heart Knowledge into our systems, structures, our living - how we care for each other (it also is the foundation of the economy of our world, similarly to the values and priorities of the Scandinavian countries, eg. Norway, REal Wealth (by Riane Eisler), Creating Caring Economies).

The full moon of yesterday certainly is not the usual gregarious, expansive, jubilant truth seeking sagittarian energy opposed by and fueled by an abundance of mental activity, lightness and gypsy like behaviour. Saturn is adding his reality check to all our belief systems and concepts. What is real for us? Takes us to what are our dreams? What basis do these dreams have? Can we conjure up or embody more of this?

This is a turning point. Why? Because 2 major planets, the Middle World planet of Saturn (planet of hard cold reality, the teacher) and the Transpersonal, Neptune (planet of the huge ocean, dreams) are in an exact square today. They will also square each other 2x in 2016, June 17 and Sept. 10.
What does this mean? it can be a crisis of consciousness (similar to the chiron return at around age 50). These two represent different levels of reality. And the full moon at this time with saturn next to it, indicates a completion at some level - an end to a certain way of Being that has been building.

The cycles of Saturn and Neptune are called synodic cycles. And the connection between saturn and neptune happens in 36 year cycles. Now they are in a square to each other, but in 1989 they were together (conjunct) and this is considered a "seed" time. The first square following was in 1998/99 (a challenging time),opposition in 2006/7 (an awareness time), and presently a square 2015/6 (challenging us, through crisis, to release the old, and whatever is not working or does not represent our real truth), and next conjunction will be in 2016 (a seed time, and at 1 degree of Aries, the very first degree of the zodiac!!!, a very NEW BEGINNING).

So, what does this mean for us, in our personal psyche, as well as culturally/socially/globally.Saturn rules maturity, as well as focus/restruction/restraint/embodiment. This challenges us to release the shadow aspects of neptune (that has been around for 2,000 years as we move into more aquarian realities), taking the scythe to any victim mentality, blame, guilt, powerlessness, addictions and illusions, and to embrace the "sharpness", the wisdom of our intuition, our Higher Self, having faith and pragmatism, integrity. How? Spending more time with ourselves, with nature, creating, seeing through where we hold back, the illusions of who we are usually based on conditioning (family and social). Get our beliefs down on paper, observe the mind. What results is a new Truth, a new higher broader View.

It contains a homing signal drawing our consciousness toward a level that goes beyond what we consider normal.
