This weeks meet the staff Monday is:

Cathy Christie
Physiotherapist
BMR.PT., Vestibular Physiotherapist, Certified in Acupuncture
* Cathy’s a graduate of the U of M in 1978
* Initially she had a stint as a hospital physiotherapist, but since 1983 DCP has been her home.
* With a goal to help everyone that comes under her care Cathy set off pursuing extensive post-grad training in a variety of approaches including manual therapy, exercise, soft tissue, acupuncture BUT lately she’s been very involved with dizziness and vertigo.
* She’s spent many years volunteering on countless boards and organizations and the profession is indebted to her for that.
* Because exercise, fitness and sports (golf, curling, racquet sports, volleyball, running, dance) are important in her own life she’s experienced many of the injuries and ailments her patients come to her with first hand, although she refuses to experience each and every one.
* She’s now beginning to more intimately understand the ageing process.
* Now that she’s not involved with the ownership of the business she spends time helping one of the new owners with childcare and is jumping into some new hobbies and spending more time with friends, since her hubby suddenly passed.
