Just got this book in the mail yesterday!! Eeek! Soooo excited to dive in. I’ve been following for awhile now & what she has created in New York with is so inspiring. 💗
So, in honour of the arrival of this long awaited book. I made Rose, Cardamom, Coconut Rice Pudding this morning!
*Note*
~This is not actually a recipe from the book but one I just made up because I was inspired to do so.
Recipe:
1 cup rice (I used red rice)
2 cups water
Cook the rice as package directs.
1 can full fat coconut milk
1tsp cardamom powder
2tsp rose water
Dash of vanilla
6 dried apricots, chopped
Ghee (I used Rasa Holistic Rose Cardamom Vanilla Ghee)
2 tablespoons Maple Syrup or sweeter of choice.
Heat together in a pot and serve.
🌸 This is great as a breakfast or sweet treat. Also super grounding and nourishing for Vata & Pitta dosha. Kapha should be mindful about the sweetness of this dish. Enjoy! 💕

Oh, we are just reminiscing about summer & fall outdoor markets over here. We can’t wait to get back out there.

Days in the kitchen making infusions. Really it’s not always so serious. We have fun too! I’m very focused here. Pouring hot oils, you have to be.
