Have you ever wondered what it's like to see through a cataract?

Take a look at our street, simulated to show how cataracts can affect your vision. Notice the blurriness and yellowish tint? Just a couple of the changes that can make daily activities more difficult.

Cataracts are a common part of aging, and regular eye exams are key to catching them early. Your optometrist can monitor their progression and, when the time is right, refer you to an ophthalmologist for surgery to restore clear vision.

Myopia is on the rise with computer usage more prevalent for school work and kids spending less time outside. It is projected that by 2050 50% of the worlds population will be near-sighted.

The earlier myopia is diagnosed, the more effective the management strategies can be. Early intervention can slow the myopia progression and reduce the likelihood of developing high myopia, which could increase the risk of several more serious vision problems later in life.

If you notice your child squinting to see objects clearly, it could be myopia. Book an appointment with us for an accurate diagnosis to help correct and preserve their vision.
