World Prematurity Month is upon us. In November of 2022 my babies were born prematurely, we spent 44 days in the NICU.

To honor the month and my beautiful (almost 2 yr olds!) I am running a preemie sleeper drive! The idea came from when I would visit the NICU and my babies would be in size 0-3 or 3-6 month sleepers. They were swimming I them. I asked the nurses why they don’t have preemie sized sleepers and they told me because they receive sleepers on a donation basis and they don’t have a lot of donors. I knew I needed to do something once I was ready.

Last year 81 sleepers were donated and dropped off at the NICU at the Health Sciences Centre here in Manitoba.

The original thought was to obtain as many used preemies sized sleepers as I could find with the help of family and friends. I learned that it was tough for people to find used ones and opened it up for new sleepers or a donation. With the donations I would go and track down sleepers myself.

Please join me in collecting as many preemie sized sleepers for the month of November! Message me if you are interested. The donation window will close on November 30th. My family and I will return to the NICU to deliver the sleepers in December 💖💖

I should introduce myself. My name is Haley and I’m the face behind Twin Moms Club. I was born and raised in Manitoba Canada. I’m 35 years old and I have a set of boy/girl twins. They’re 15 months old and bring me more joy than I know how to express.
