The Preemie Sleeper Drive has officially wrapped. For 30 days, 21 donors came together to give 88 preemie sleepers, all of which will be donated to both HSC and St. Boniface NICUs here in Manitoba.

Today my children and I will be delivering the first half of the sleepers to HSC. The remaining sleepers will be donated later this week.

While we didn’t reach the goal of 200, this is still our largest collection since the very first year and a significant increase from last year’s 61 sleepers. I’m grateful and proud of this community for showing up for preemie families.

Thank you to every person who donated, shared the posts, or supported the drive. It means more than you know!

Yesterday’s November TMC MeetUp has me feeling all kinds of grateful today. 🫶

What started as a tiny idea — just hoping to find a few other twin moms to connect with — has grown into a community that continues to show up with so much support for one another.

Twelve moms came out yesterday. Twelve women balancing so much in their lives and still choosing to make space for connection.

It’s not lost on me how special that is. Thank you for showing up, trusting this space, and helping build something that truly matters. 🤍🤍

Here’s to community, and to twin moms who understand like no one else.

Every November, in honor of World Prematurity Awareness Month and in celebration of my own preemie twins, we run an Annual Preemie Sleeper Drive for NICU families here in Manitoba.

This is our third year collecting new and gently used preemie sleepers, as well as monetary donations, to support families currently in the NICU.

Tiny sleepers may seem small, but they mean comfort, dignity, and care for babies and parents going through one of the hardest experiences of their lives.
