Developed over sixty years ago in Hungary by Dr. Andras Peto, Conductive Education maximizes the independance and mobility of children and adults with disabilities including cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, acquired brain injuries, stroke, Parkinson's disease and spina bifida. It is delivered in a group environment by specially trained instructors, called conductors, to help clients gain or regain physical mobility, increased confidence and functional independence.

The Endowment Fund Matching Campaign - Building a Brighter Future for Tomorrow

On December 27th, Movement Centre client Olivia Steadman returned to centre ice to sing the anthems at the Winnipeg Jets game — once again inspiring thousands and reminding us that hopes and dreams are within reach for everyone.

Inspired by Olivia’s story and gift of song, Mark and Sharon Evans announced an extraordinary Christmas gift — they will match donations up to $100,000 to the Movement Centre of Manitoba’s Olivia Steadman Endowment Fund, ensuring support for children and adults like Olivia for generations to come.
