Full Job Description – Dental Lab Technician (Ortho Focus)
Key Responsibilities
* Design, fabricate, and repair orthodontic appliances based on dental prescriptions
* Work with CAD/CAM software and EXOCAD for digital design
* Pour models, make custom trays, and bite registrations in the wet lab
* Carve, grind, polish, and finish orthodontic appliances to ensure proper fit and appearance
* Receive, organize, and prepare dental cases for delivery or pick-up at dental offices within Winnipeg
* Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed
* Rotate through cleaning and lab maintenance duties
* Perform additional tasks as assigned to support lab operations
What We’re Looking For
* 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a dental lab, specifically in orthodontics
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM and EXOCAD design software
* Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
* Positive, team-oriented attitude
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Works efficiently and accurately even in time-sensitive conditions
* Valid Class 5 driver’s license
* Ability to commute to our Winnipeg lab or relocate prior to starting
* We welcome applicants who are legally eligible to work in Canada and currently reside in Winnipeg or are planning to relocate before their start date.
