Alisa Hobbs Yoga - Yoga For The Cure

Community Yoga in Support of The CancerCare Manitoba Foundation As with most of the population my family has been personally affected by cancer.

Since 2017 our community has come together through yoga to raise over $54,000 for patient care, support, and research for the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Events have included outdoor community classes in Riding Mountain National Park, Mom & Baby Yoga, Kids Yoga, professional development days for teachers and local businesses, karma classes in daycares, and schools in Winnipeg, and the annual Yoga by the Lake fundraiser. Through this initiative, I am turning my passion for yoga, and the skills I’ve developed as a teacher into support for a good cause.

100% of all money raised is donated directly to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation and stays in Manitoba. If you would like to collaborate on a CancerCare Manitoba Foundation fundraising initiative in your workplace, school, or otherwise, please contact me directly.
