Whole Self Wellness welcomes Sabrina Hogan, M.Ed., B.Ed., BA (Advanced), C.C.C., RP (Qualifying), Psychological Associate (Candidate), to the clinic.
Sabrina is a compassionate and experienced therapist who supports children, teens, and adults through life’s challenges with warmth, insight, and a trauma-informed approach. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a Psychological Associate (Candidate) with the Psychological Association of Manitoba (PAM).
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) majoring in Psychology, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology (Thesis Route). With a strong background as both a teacher and school counsellor, Sabrina brings over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in educational and therapeutic settings.
Sabrina specializes in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma recovery, and narcissistic abuse, helping clients navigate the complex effects of emotional manipulation, relational trauma, and self-doubt. She has also gained experience assisting with psychological assessments and diagnostic formulation for children, teens and adults under supervision, deepening her clinical expertise. At this time, with her current supervisor, she can do this for adolescents and adults.
She believes healing involves both the mind and body and often encourages incorporating physical activity into one’s wellness routine. A former competitive swim coach, she continues to stay active and has recently found joy in playing pickleball.
Sabrina’s approach is evidence-based and person-centered. She aims to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can gain self-awareness, build resilience, and create meaningful change. She is also aiming to pursue advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to further enhance her trauma-informed practice.
