Your triceps are the muscles on the back of your upper arms, and they make up nearly 2/3 of your arm size! So if strong, toned arms are the goal, don't skip tricep day.

Why train triceps?
- Builds upper body strength

4 things we implemented into our daily routine that helped launch our healthy lifestyle.

1. Meal prepped ingredients - help to eliminate food noise when we are tired after work
2. Drinking at least 24oz of water before morning coffee - helped reduce spiking our cortisol and aid in digestion
3. 8 hours of sleep - sleep is the magical secret you are missing in your routine
4. Daily movement - walks, swimming, pickleball, taking the stairs, etc. doing what we can to stay active throughout the day

Last week we talked about Plyometrics. This week…

ISOMETRICS. These are exercises where muscles contract without changing length or joint angle, essentially holding a static position.

Think planks, wall sits, bridges and holds. These can be pretty tough, but they’re low impact, accessible to every fitness level and really improve strength and endurance!

PLYOMETRICS. These are exercises in which muscles exert maximum force in short intervals of time with the goal of increasing power. Think explosive movements like jumps, bounds and twists.

You've for sure seen Aidan around the club, but let's get to know him a little better before the holidays!!

Aidan is one of our Certified Personal Trainers and helps make the day to day operations of the gyms run smoothly!!

He is incredibly passionate about his clients success. He has a background in sports, powerlifting and bodybuilding. Make sure to ask him about his incredible weight loss journey that happened before he found a love for lifting.

When Aidan isn't at the gym, working or training, he enjoys travelling, gaming, music theory and spending time with his family.

We feel blessed to have Aidan on our team because of his compassion for others and his genuine desire to help make people feel great!!

We're sure you've seen him in the clubs, but we want to re-introduce Personal Trainer Josh Thompson!!

Josh has over a decade of experience in the gym, well versed in many modalities of fitness. He is a lifelong student of the body and it's movement abilities. He has worked at many different jobs but Personal Training has always been his passion .

Outside of work, Josh enjoys partaking in his hobbies of Gym Tourism, and many other forms of physical activity. You'd be shocked to see him outside of a gym, but if you did, he would be likely be working out in some way!

As we wrap up 2024 and prepare for the New Year, we want to take a moment and re-introduce our team and share a bit about each of us!!

We're sure you know Char, but let's get to know her a bit...

Charlize is an ISSA-Certified Trainer, specializing in building muscle, weight loss, strength conditioning and motivational techniques. She has a deep passion for fitness and strives to show her clients what they are capable of. Her own fitness journey fuels her passion making her a relatable and encouraging coach.

Outside of the gym, Charlize spends time with friends and pets. Char is the proud dog Mom of 2 fur babies, Chuck and Flint. (Flint is a tri-pod that she rescued this summer). She also has a vast collection of reptiles (she loves snakes and bugs).. 🐍

Char started out with Snap Fitness as a Member and grew her passion for fitness into a career.
