Today, on September 30th, we pause to honor the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities.

This day is not only about remembrance, it is also a call to action. We wear orange to stand in solidarity, to acknowledge the painful truths of our shared history, and to commit ourselves to reconciliation through learning, listening, and walking together in a better way.

May we carry the voices of Survivors with us, ensure their stories are never forgotten, and continue working toward healing and justice for generations to come.

In Loving Memory of Felix Beardy

On behalf of the Medical Transportation Team, Staff and Board of Four Arrows Regional Health, we would like to take this moment to acknowledge and honor a dear colleague and friend, Felix Beardy.
Felix was a foundational part of our Medical Transportation management team during the early days in 2010. His dedication, leadership, and unwavering belief in our mission helped shape the service and unit into what it is today.

He was the one who encouraged us to keep going when challenges arose, always reminding us of why we do this work. He often said, "We do this for our people, with our people." These words have remained at the heart of everything we do, and they continue to guide us forward.

Felix will be fondly missed by all of us. His spirit lives on in our daily efforts to serve and support our community — together, with our community members.

Thank you, Felix, for everything.

Update: Wildfire Relief Funds – Garden Hill
Tuesday, September 2. 2025

To all GHAN Wildfire Relief Funds applicants – we have been working on getting EFT payments ready, however, due to the amount of applicants requesting this payment method – it has taken longer than expected as the number of applicants was 50% of the total GHAN population which requires us to put more time into processing for this payment method.

The target payment date for all EFTs is Friday, September 5, 2025.

If funds were not transferred to your account by then – please forward any questions/concerns to: relieffunds@fourarrowsrha.org
and we will investigate the inquiry.

However, please be aware that if you chose to use your WE Card direct deposit and you are NOT the account holder of the WE Account, We Financial/Northwest Company will flag that as fraud and will hold your funds to which the funds will come back to us.

Cheques were sent out to Garden Hill two weeks ago and will be sent out this Friday again for the remaining applicants that chose this payment method.
