Considering above the muscle breast implant placement? Here’s what you should know 👇

Above the muscle placement (subglandular or subfascial) may offer a shorter recovery period and enhanced cleavage for select patients. Additionally, there is little to no movement when flexing the chest muscle. When chosen appropriately, it can create a beautiful, natural-appearing result.

2025 was a landmark year — defined by excellence, evolution, and global perspective. It represented the most rewarding chapter of my professional career, shaped by international collaboration, extensive travel, and the opportunity to exchange knowledge with world-renowned surgeons while continuing to elevate my approach to aesthetic surgery.

The year culminated in the honour of serving as President of the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and a truly historic moment: presenting in the iconic Eiffel Tower. Both milestones represent achievements I will always hold with deep gratitude and pride.

Scar maturation takes time and with consistent post-operative care (consisting of silicone based scar gel, silicone taping, and scar massage), it can heal beautifully over time. To quicken the process, laser or microneedling treatments can be performed after 6 months, pending surgeon approval.
