We are so proud of Justin!! He went through a number of staged surgeries by but it was his hard work and dedication to loose 150 lbs prior to his first surgery through diet and exercise and then his continued pursuit to make his health and body a top priority after his last surgery that is truly remarkable!!

The before and after pictures were taken 5 years apart.

PROCEDURES:
1. Circumferential lower body lift (fleur-de-Lis abdominoplasty with flankplasty and buttock lift)
2. Upper body lift
3. Chest liposuction and fat removal with peri-areolar lift and lateral skin tightening

Let’s talk about Ozempic…

📲 Ideally, I’d like to see you in person for your consultation. However, if that’s not possible, I also offer RealTime Video Consultations for patients living more than 4 hrs away or out-of-province. Although, if the issue is a revision type surgery, it’s best to be seen in person!

🎯 At the consult, we will discuss your goals, review options, and create your personalized surgical plan. You will receive an exact quote at the end of your consult.

🗓️ If you have a preferred surgery date, don’t wait because consultations are booking several months out. Surgery can generally be accomplished within 3 months.

🤓 If you are keen on having surgery asap, please let our staff know when booking your consult. We can try and expedite your consult date and come to your appointment date with a completed history, physical, and bloodwork from your doctor. Prior to your appointment, we can provide these forms upon request.

Tummy Tuck vs. C-Section: Which One Hurts More?

This is a question I get asked a lot, and I’m here to clear things up!

Most of our patients say a tummy tuck is actually less painful than a C-section. So why’s that? When performing a tummy tuck, we don’t have to cut through the muscle or any organs (like the uterus during a C-section). This means the recovery process is a lot smoother and the pain level is significantly less intense compared to a C-section.

I know every experience is different, but for the majority of people, tummy tuck recovery is much easier than what many go through after a C-section.

Breast augmentations at The First Glance are a unique experience not shared elsewhere in Manitoba.

We are the only clinic in Manitoba and one of a few clinics in Canada that offers ultrasounds to our patients. This ensures the safety of our patients because we get to see the state of your implants every few years. Unfortunately, mammograms won’t detect the majority of ruptures.

If you’re a patient of ours, or not, that has implants, make sure to book an appointment to get them checked out. The schedule is 5 years after original surgery and then every 2 years thereafter.

Please note that ultrasound examination of your implants may be associated with a cost depending on when and where they were performed.
