CPAP Cleaning Tip 🫧

Your CPAP mask, tubing, and water chamber should be cleaned regularly to help keep your equipment fresh and well-maintained.

Here’s a simple routine you can follow:

✔ Wash your mask, tube, and water tub in the kitchen sink using warm water and mild dish soap
✔ Rinse thoroughly
✔ Let everything air dry completely before your next use

Pro tip: Make sure there’s no soap residue left inside the tubing or vent, so always be sure to rinse well with fresh water before letting it dry.

Regular CPAP equipment cleaning and maintenance helps keep your gear in good condition and ready for your nightly routine.

It’s time to clean your CPAP.

Keeping your CPAP mask clean is an important part of proper CPAP equipment care and maintenance.

Did you know your CPAP mask should be cleaned daily? Each night, your mask collects skin oils, moisture, and bacteria, which can affect both comfort and performance if left untreated.

Daily CPAP cleaning tips:
✔ Wipe your mask each morning using warm water and mild soap
✔ Rinse thoroughly
✔ Allow your mask to air dry completely
✔ Make CPAP cleaning part of your daily routine

Regular CPAP maintenance and cleaning helps extend the life of your equipment and supports better sleep.

Using CPAP but still waking up dry, congested, or uncomfortable?

You’re not alone, and the good news is, these issues are common, but not normal… and they’re often fixable.

Let’s talk about what could be going wrong and how to feel better:

💨 Dry mouth or nosebleeds?
Try adding a heated humidifier to your CPAP machine. This adds moisture to your airflow and can relieve dryness and nasal irritation.

😮‍💨 Still experiencing dryness?
A full-face mask or a chin strap may help you keep your mouth closed during sleep — especially if you’re a mouth breather.

🛠️ And don’t forget the mask fit!

If your mask is leaking or too tight, it can cause discomfort, disrupt therapy, or even increase pressure, making your symptoms worse.

CPAP therapy shouldn’t be a struggle. It should help you breathe better, sleep deeper, and wake up restored.

Drop your CPAP comfort question in the comments or send us a DM. We’re here to help you get the most out of your CPAP therapy!

On this episode of Mask Masterclass with Zoe, we’re taking a closer look at the Wisp Nasal Mask: designed for comfort, stability, and a clear field of vision.

Zoe walks through:
✔️ How the nasal cushion sits comfortably under the nose
✔️ Why the Wisp is great for active sleepers who need to get up at night
✔️ How it is low contact and a well reviewed mask

The Wisp offers a balance between comfort and structure, making it a strong choice for users who want a lightweight feel without sacrificing a reliable seal. The unobtrusive design also reduces facial contact, helping minimize marks and irritation.

Struggling to Find the Right CPAP Mask? You’re Not Alone.

When it comes to CPAP therapy, the right mask can make all the difference! And we always say consistent

🔹 Side sleeper or feel claustrophobic?
Go for a nasal pillow — light, minimal, and less intrusive.

🔹 Breathe through your nose but toss and turn?
A nasal mask offers balance between comfort and stability.

🔹 Mouth breather or often congested?
You’ll likely benefit from a full-face mask for better airflow coverage.

The right fit helps you stick with therapy and that’s what leads to long-term sleep success.

How long until CPAP makes a difference?

It’s a common and important question.

Most CPAP users start to feel improvements within 2 to 4 weeks, but timelines can vary.

Everyone’s sleep journey is different. And that’s okay.

Your results may depend on:
🔹 Mask comfort and fit
🔹 How many hours you use it each night
🔹 Your baseline sleep quality
🔹 How consistent your therapy is

Some people feel better almost immediately. Others take a bit longer and that’s completely normal.

The key is patience, support, and consistency.

If you’re feeling discouraged or unsure about your progress, send us a DM or drop your questions in the comments. Our team is here to help you get the rest you deserve.

Think Sleep Tests Take Forever? Let’s clear that up!

If you’ve been putting off a sleep test because you thought it would take days, require overnight labs, or be a hassle… here’s the truth:

Most Home Sleep Apnea Tests are done in just one night.
✅ No hospital stays
✅ No long appointments
✅ No sleeping in unfamiliar labs

With a Home Sleep Test, you simply wear a small diagnostic device while sleeping in your own bed. It records your breathing, oxygen levels, and heart rate while you sleep — and you return it the next day.

That’s it. One night. Done.

Comment “sleepstudy” and we’ll walk you through exactly how to get started from home — fast, easy, and stress-free.
