Key Requirements:
● In depth knowledge of infection-control policies and protocols.
● Good communication skills and great chairside manner
● Excellent organizational and planning skills
● Working knowledge of computers, Dentrix and Microsoft office
● Strong work ethic and a team player
Education and Experience:
● Licensed RDA
● Valid CPR certificate
● Knowledge of dental and surgical terminology
Key Responsibilities:
● Greeting patients and assisting in completion and collection of all necessary clinical and radiographic data
● Preparing treatment room by following prescribed protocols for each treatment
● Assisting chairside during treatments and operatory turn around after completion of treatment
● Ensuring operation of dental equipment and tools by completing preventive maintenance requirements
● Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
● Strong team player

ClearCare Periodontal & Implant Centre is currently hiring a full time Dental Receptionist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Booking/scheduling/registration of patients
- Communicating with other dental offices
- Greeting patients and assisting in the completion of all necessary forms/documentation and data collection
- Answering/managing calls and providing information to patients
- General administration duties including: organization of referrals, inventory management, collection and billing including preparation of claim forms, mailing of billing statements, arrangement of payment schedules.
- Maintenance of the reception area.
- Contacting patients regarding Treatment Plans.
- Safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Escorting patients to and from operatories.

Key required competencies:
- Great communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Maintenance of professional demeanor and dress code at all times.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong team player
- Excellent computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,..etc.)
- Dental knowledge is considered an asset.
