Our goals for you are to get you feeling good now and making sure further damage does not happen as you age. At Pilates Manitoba, we want you to have an amazing work-out while you learn about yourself, with natural anti-aging and anti-stress feel good benefits. We want you to feel excited about your body and brain fitness. Our lessons are a very efficient way to spend an hour working your body safely with no damage to joints or bones while getting a great mental workout! Pilates Manitoba lessons are effective and efficient with great value because of the best quality instruction. We offer the best instructors in the province for your cognitive brain/mind/body fitness. Pilates Manitoba is about the art, science and business of Pilates. We have all of the large equipment such as Reformers, the Cadillac upright frames, Stability Chairs and Tower Trainers for use in Fitness Pilates classes, Therapeutic Pilates classes or private personal training and specialized instruction. We have all of the small equipment such as Fascial Fitness or "Fascia-lates" balls for Self-Myofascia Release (SMR), toning balls, fitness circles, rollers, edges and stability cushions to name a few, in Fitness and Therapeutic Pilates classes or private lessons. We offer faster paced Fitness Pilates for the fitness followers but we are really specialized in Therapeutic Pilates for injuries and chronic issues (herniated disks, fibromyalgia, MS, arthritis, osteoporosis, Parkinson's and spinal stenosis to name a few). In this way, we use Pilates as a very specialized form of therapy called neuro-muscular-skeletal re-patterning. You can get stable and aligned again and own it for life because you practice it daily in little ways such as sitting at your desk on the computer or walking or doing any of the movements you love to do. You can re-pattern negatively i.e keep hurting, keep not using your total body, keep denying the release of pain and immobility, so Pilates Manitoba gets you excited about the opportunity to re-pattern positively! We specialize in Plus Size Fitness, Yoga on the Reformer, Barre classes and Brain Fitness because Pilates is a way of thinking and processing, so you take it with you wherever you go, whatever you do! A new study strengthens the growing focus on the Deep Adipose Tissue (DAT) layer—situated in the deeper part of the subcutaneous connective tissue and distinct from the Superficial Adipose Tissue—as a frequent source of myofascial pain dysfunctions. You are invited to a workshop focusing on fascial stretching and strengthening of the spine!
Come learn about the benefits of ELDOA, developed by Dr. Guy VOYER, DO and feel what ELDOA postures can do for you!

ELDOA (Étirements Longitudinaux avec Decoaptation Ostéo Articulaire) which translates to Longitudinal Osteo-Articular Decoaptation Stretching.

During the workshop, participate in a gentle warm up focused on increasing your joint proprioception, balance and coordination. Be guided step by step through a variety of ELDOA postures for your spine, enjoy a relaxing cool down and there will be time for Questions and Answers.

This is suitable for Beginners and everyone is welcome. Please bring your own mat, small towel and water to sip. Please come for 6:15 and the class starts promptly at 6:30 pm. The location is at PD Breathwork, 421 Mulvey Ave E. The space is on the second floor with a ramp leading up to the main entrance. There is an elevator up to the second floor.
