The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics™ (NMT™) is a neuroscience-informed, developmentally sensitive approach that helps teams better understand and support children, youth, and families.

NMT™ is not a therapy and does not rely on one specific treatment method. Instead, it helps guide professionals in choosing and sequencing the right therapeutic, educational, and enrichment activities to best meet a person’s current needs.

✨ How It Works
NMT™ looks at both past experiences and current strengths. By understanding how experiences shape development, teams can create a personalized, strengths-based plan.

💙 How It Helps
Using NMT™ clinical tools, practitioners gain a clearer picture of current brain functioning. This supports thoughtful planning, ongoing adjustment, and interventions matched to developmental needs—helping improve outcomes over time.

Prairie Tides is a healing-centered space offering live-in and community-based support for youth navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Meaningful healing plans rooted in relationship, therapeutic care, and the land, are created using the guidance of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics™.

The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics™ (NMT™ ) is a neuroscience-informed, developmentally sensitive approach to clinical problem solving, only available in Manitoba through Marymound and Prairie Tides. The NMT™ metric ensures the utilization of the most effective interventions, timed specifically for the client’s current developmental capabilities and needs, thereby optimizing the probability of success.

Today we honour the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year and a time of reflection, rest, and renewal. As the darkness reaches its peak, the return of the light begins, reminding us of resilience, hope, and new beginnings.

The Winter Solstice is a sacred time to slow down, release what no longer serves us, and set intentions for the season ahead. May this turning of the seasons bring warmth, balance, and gentle healing to you and your loved ones.
