Today was our ASC Memory walk! It was a beautiful day for our event! Tenants walked outside around the building while listened to live music by Jeff Sahulka, we had a hydration/snack station with ice tea, granola bars, and fresh orange slice! We also had a donation station where tenants could donate to the Alzheimer’s society and pledge who they were walking for! An amazing job by our community as we were able to raise $4,600! Great job everyone and thank you to all who participated! 🚶🟣

ASC is teaming up with the Alzheimer’s Society to host a heartwarming Memory Walk right here on our grounds at Seine River. The Memory Walk will be held on Wednesday May 27th.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to come together outdoors, enjoy the fresh air, refreshments, and live entertainment, all while supporting a wonderful cause.
We’ll have donation stations set up, and our collective goal is to raise $1,000! Lets see if we can raise the most funds out of any ASC building in Canada! We will have Live Music playing outdoors while everyone is walking, a hydration and refreshment station, and station where you can pledge who you are walking for! We will be walking rain or shine, but lets hope mother nature cooperates and we can walk outdoors and enjoy the beautiful spring weather! Let’s come together as a community and make this a memorable and impactful event! 😀💙🚶‍♂️‍➡️

Today was our vintage car showcase at Seine River! Thank you to the Manitoba Classic & Antique Auto Club for showcasing some amazing vehicles for our tenants! A great walk down memory lane! 🚗😀

Our Mother of Pearl Mothers Day Celebration! 🐚❤️

Today we celebrated all the mothers and mother figures with our mother of pearl event! We started the day with morning tide gentle stretch and with our DIY Shell Dish craft! Then in the afternoon we had our sea of memories reminiscing hour and our Pearls and Prosecco party! It was a PEARL of a day celebrating all the amazing ladies at Seine River! 🐚❤️

Yesterday was our Jazz Cafe Day! We had some beautiful Jazz music in the front lobby! We also served some chocolate mousse and butter tarts as a snack! A great afternoon! 🎺🎷

Life is sweet, but our volunteers make it even sweeter! 🍫
We had an egg-cellent morning celebrating the heart of Seine River at our Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast! Between the decadent chocolate treats and the delicious Eggs Benedict, we’re feeling very spoiled-but not half as much as we value the incredible people who give their time to our cause!

Yesterday was Earth Day! We celebrated by giving back to our local environment with a community cleanup! Its amazing what a few hands and a lot of heart can do for our neighborhood! Let’s keep our community blossoming! 🧹🌸

Today was our Resident Masterclass day! We had 2 tenants do a short presentation teaching other tenants something they are Masters of! Vern taught tenants about carving and Helen taught tenants about relaxing! Thank you so much to Vern and Helen for teaching our tenants today! 😀
