We almost forgot to include Layla in our long-term dog adoption fee reduction—her fee is now $185, down from $330.
Layla is a smart, affectionate pup who’s ready for her forever home. She’s house-trained, loves a good belly rub, and picks up new tricks quickly—she already knows how to sit, shake paw, and lie down. She’s especially eager to please when treats are involved and will happily show off her skills for a little praise.
Layla recently had a meet-and-greet with two kids and couldn’t have been happier to make new friends. She was calm, gentle, and loved being petted—she showed no nervousness at all. Layla clearly enjoys being around children.
With women, Layla is relaxed and affectionate. She’s great with other dogs, both male and female, and handles her introductions like a champ. It takes her a little longer to warm up to men, but with a slow, patient introduction outside, she can learn to feel comfortable.
At mealtime, Layla listens to “wait” and will head straight to her bed until it’s time to eat. She’s well-mannered and adapts to new routines with ease.
