Are you holding on too tight?
There was this young boy who loved strawberries. He loved them so much that he begged his mom for more. Exacerbated, with tears streaming down his face and fists tightly clenched, he yells:
“Why won’t you just give me what I want?”
To which his mom, who’s standing in front of him with an overflowing bowl of freshly washed strawberries, replies:
“Because you won’t open your hands.”

Is there an area of your life where you’re holding on too tight? Where you’re unconsciously blocking things you want from reaching you?
We do this.
We say we want things - and often complain when we don’t get them - yet we don’t make space for them.
Sometimes, the things we want are right in front of us. But we can’t see them because we’re too attached to routines, stories and programming that keeps us on track.
Summer is a great time to experiment with shifting this way of being. There’s naturally a more relaxed energy this time of year.
It’s a time of recreation, AKA Re-Creation.
Re-creating on the outside starts with showing up differently on the inside.
Slow down
Loosen your grip
Works less, linger longer
Eat more strawberries 🍓
