➡️ Reduce liquid calories: Eliminate sugary sodas and lattes to cut hundreds of calories.

➡️ Smart snacking: Replace chips with a handful of nuts.

➡️ Cook more: Prepare meals at home to control ingredients and reduce salt.

Studies show that working out in a group or with others has many benefits.
1. it can help you stick to the program because you make each other accountable.
2. It can cause a competitive urge. A little friendly competition provided by your groupcan also boost the intensity of your effort.
3. Exercise pals can help you make exercise a habit. A friendly text between friends reminding you of your gym session is all it takes to create a habit.
Go out there and find your accountability group and get started.

Laughter is the best medicine

Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.
Laughter burns calories. Okay, so it’s no replacement for going to the gym, but one study found that laughing for 10 to 15 minutes a day can burn approximately 40 calories—which could be enough to lose three or four pounds over the course of a year.

No matter where you are in your health journey you can always find ways to be your healthiest. You just have to:
➡️ Have a plan.
➡️ Be consistent.
➡️ Praise yourself for your achievements.
➡️ Don’t be disappointed if you sway from the plan from time to time.
➡️ Focus on the goal.
➡️ Visualize where you want to be.
➡️ Be grateful for the health you do have.
