In 2024, we proudly launched a Teen Mentorship Program — an exciting new chapter at our centre! This program is designed to empower teens with essential life and career skills, including:

• Career exploration and guidance

Emotional regulation is the ability to recognize, manage, and respond to emotions in a healthy and adaptive way. It involves skills such as understanding feelings, controlling impulses, calming down when upset, and adjusting emotions to different situations. Supporting children in developing emotional regulation skills is crucial, especially for those who struggle with self-control, frustration, or emotional outbursts. Ways that we help our learners:

Deep Breathing: Encourage slow, deep breaths to help calm down.

Sensory Tools: Fidget toys, weighted blankets, or soft music can help soothe overstimulated children.

Movement Breaks: Jumping, stretching, or squeezing a stress ball can help release tension.

Calming Spaces: Create a quiet corner where the child can relax when overwhelmed.

We love our ATT team office. This is where all the magic happens! Data is graphed, reports are drafted, teamwork and brainstorming brew!

Each learner receives individual programs. Data is taken on specific targets selected for the learner and analyzed to track progress. Collaboration between team members ensures that each learner’s program is tailored to their needs, with adjustments made as necessary.

Our ATT team thrives on communication, innovation, and dedication. Whether we’re graphing data, drafting reports, or brainstorming strategies, every effort is focused on providing the best possible outcomes for our learners.

It’s more than just an office—it’s a space where growth happens, both for our learners and for us as a team!

Designed for students in our Academic School Readiness Program, this space is built for learning, growth, and fun! Our students actively participate in school announcements over the PA system, engage with the IXL learning program, develop social skills through peer interactions, gain computer training, and so much more!

Our students love their classroom and their amazing teachers, Miss Julia and Miss Elizabeth! ❤️

All programs are designed and overseen by Chaza Attar, the centres founder and board certified behaviour analyst/Registered Behaviour Analyst.
