The founder and CEO, Luigi Miraglia, began a career as a hair stylist who was seeking to share his passion with the industry, by bringing a point of difference to the professional in the beauty industry. With a focus on providing professionals with advanced education, quality hair products, and tools with an innovative edge, the vision and success of Metro would prove to be one that cannot be duplicated or paralleled by any other distribution house. The company was created with the idea of incorporating brands that would be concept oriented and exclusive to the distribution house. With education as the cornerstone of professional talent, the idea of building a professional facility to accommodate educational programs came to life in 1994, when the Metro Academy was established. Metro Beauty Advanced educational facility was to form one of the most solid foundations in educating the professional. This success is credited to the commitment of the entire team at Metro, as well as, our association with the brands that we represent. Our advanced education facility incorporates seminars for the stylist, beauty and wellness professional, as well as owners and managers. Through conceptional and technical trainings we have the ability to offer new and innovative ways to help partner with our clients to ensure quality of business. This is one of the most rewarding industries and we are proud that we have been apart of it for over 40 years.
